I thought they had just changed the label but the new version is wayyyyyy too thick with the beeswax and it's like a very firm thick putty that does NOT work well with thinner hair. It literally pulls on my scalp after about 2 seconds when I start blending it in and cannot make a good style with it compared to the old formula. Love charcoal shampoo and conditioners! My sons hair always has a smell to it, because of football and baseball and just always having a hat in his head. Old version is the perfect mix it has an amazing hold and finish ad well as a sent and value for money. This new version is absolutely terrible... sent is bad, hold is as good as the old one but when applying it gives my hair a disgusting look as if I haven't washed it in 3 weeks and kept the product in for more than a week... The reason being is that this new version is as dry as the Sahara desert you can clearly see how creamy the old product is compared to the new version not to mention how we're paying the same price for less product. It also doesn't wash out easily because of how dry it is. This product is terrible please bring the old version back as it was perfect.For those looking to switch products I personally tried a few and ended up going with a brand called Rocky mountain barber company pomade I personally feel it gives me the same results as the old version of this product.
