I've been using the Regular Olay Regenerist for years and got excited when this came out being Whip is lighter and has SPF now too! I've used this product abt 10 times now and unfortunately it has causes a reaction on my skin. After abt 5 uses I tried using my old original Regenerist (still had some left over) and the redness went away. I tried it again a couple times, and the final time right before I went in to to get a facial. The Esthetician asked if I had rosacea and I said never before I started using this product and she told me to stop using it. That sometimes when products add in SPF to a moisturizer to an original formula it can cause a different reaction in people. Good to know. Sadly I can't use this any more :( Read more
Okay, I was very skeptical of this brand. I had gotten some samples in a fashion magazine and right away I loved how it felt on my skin and the texture. Me being the Amazon-aholic that I am, it was in my cart before I knew it and presto, bam, first mornings application my hubby says to me "you look so young, your skin looks so nice." I could not believe it. I went and looked in the mirror and I could absolutely see a difference. I will tell you that out of all the brands I have used this one has gotten me the best results. I am incredibly happy that I tried those tiny samples. I super highly recommend giving it a try. I will be purchasing my third one soon. Thank me later by pressing like please so I know I helped make a difference! Read more
Don’t buy this expecting it to reduce wrinkles or even fine lines. It’s like a normal moisturizer. I actually had fine lines reappear from stopping my moisturizer that has retinol A in it. Thought with the expensive price this would be better, I was wrong. Also gives me a greasy shiny look. Read more
:Let me start by saying I was a big fan of Fresh Effects Long Live Moisture lotion - which is no longer available. Of course - right ladies?! Maybe it's just me, but I returned this cream after my first use. Right away, I could tell it was not light, and, apparently it never absorbed into my skin because a couple of hours later, I could actually "roll" it off. The best example I can think of is that it came off with my fingertips just like a mild sunburn that is starting to peel. I returned it for a full refund and contacted Olay about it. Read more
Every time I use this product. It causes skin to peel off in great amounts. This is great if you want a skin exfoliant, but for everyday use, it is very embarrassing to have large pieces of dead skin rolling off your face. I will continue to use the original. Read more
Dries the crap out of your face! Supposed to be moisturizing. Save your money! Read more
1st Image: Original Fragrance Free Formula2nd Image: 25 SPF FormulaFirst Impression, will update later. Just got the product yesterday, I have been using the Original Regenerist Whip (Fragrance Free) for a long time and have been in love with it. Applied original to half my face and sunscreen version to other half for first use. Will update after the first day and first week.My complexion: I have very sensitive, and oily skin, especially oily in my T-zone, and especially sensitive around my lips, eyes, and chin. I'm going on a trip to Southeast Asia so I wanted a face sunscreen that wouldn't cause my sensitive, oily skin to break out or look greasy. Hopefully this one will fit the bill. The Package: arrived in a bit of disarray, arrived in a prime bubble wrap bag, the product box was open, no tape at all, with some damage to the edges, and seemed a little dirty. Somewhat expected for a product coming from a large warehouse. The plastic cover wasn't air tight as when I buy the original in store, and the moisturizer had leaked out a bit, I guess expected for a product being shipped individually and tossed around. For products as intimate as skincare, they should put more effort into keeping things in better condition. The Product: The sunscreen moisturizer is more of a white color than the original formula. Which makes sense. It looks quite a bit heavier, but it applies only a little more heavily. While the product option on this page says "fragrance free" this product is DEFINITELY scented. Disappointing, but the scent is light and airy, and not overwhelming. I get migraines from most perfumes but so far have not been affected by this one. It applies smoothly, and is absorbed pretty well, but it does feel more oily than the original formula, which is to be expected. After application I can immediately notice a slight visual difference in the two on my skin. See photos. I don't seem to be having a reaction yet, and hope this proves to be noncomedogenic as the original formula was. Read more
I've been using the non-whip/non-SPF Olay Regenerist for years, and when I saw there was a version with SPF 25, I thought I'd give it a try. This Whip version is so much better for my skin, and since it's summer and I'm in Southern California, the SPF is really important (just wish this had been around 40 years ago!). Anyway, even in my middle age, I still have trouble with breakouts. I've been using this product daily for a few weeks now, and my face has not been clearer since before my teen years. I don't have severe acne, but enough trouble that I don't leave the house without makeup. I apply this after washing and toning my face on completely dry skin. At first, I wasn't sure I liked the fragrance (I do like the smell of the original formula), but it isn't strong at all, and now I can't even smell it. And my nose is very sensitive to fragrances! When I first apply it, it seems a little greasy/shiny, but it absorbs completely in just a couple minutes, and is perfect under my mineral powder foundation. I find I have a lot less shine throughout the day, too, unlike when I use the non-SPF/original version. My skin looks so good that I am not not even using any moisturizer at night (I was using this one during the day and the original at night but that was too much moisture for me). Maybe when the weather changes, or if I lived in a cold & dry winter-y area, I'd need to use both, but right now, this one alone is a gem. Now I'm just hoping they don't change the formula or keep raising the price -- ugh! Read more
I loved loved loved it, I have used Nivea, L'Oreal, regular Olay, Avon. I usually get a sticky face this is amazing and has uv protection and I have had multiple facial surgeries due to air bag exploding in my face during an accident its really good for my scars. Worth every penny. Don't forget to moisturize neck also sun can give you dry skin. Enjoy ladies Read more
Just ok. It's kinda thick for a day time cream. Kind of pills up if you put on too much. Read more
Received it really quick from Amazon. Love the feel. I know its going to be my new favourite face and neck cream. I've tried very expensive creams and to be honest, I notice no difference in my skin in respect to dryness. Love how this one feels and goes on. Read more
This product is garbage. It left a residue on my face that was gritty. Every time I put it on, as I rubbed it into my skin, chunks would come off. The smell isn’t terrible but it’s strong and if you happen to sweat, it goes into your eyes and burns. There are much better products on the market. Save your money. Read more
I prefer the Olay Regenerist whip without the SPF as it has more of a whip feel to it and is lighter on the face...this one has a greasier feel. Read more
