So Olay appears to have not only changed the bottle by removing the logo but also changed the formula of this product. They only put the ingredients on the box not the bottle so unfortunately I can't compare what ingredients may have changed. As some have noted, if you have sensitive skin the changed product may cause you issues when the old formula did not.I have some remaining in my existing bottle and the most noticeable difference is the new formula is not as light of a feel on application. The best way to describe it is your hand you used to apply it will feel tacky for about a minute after applying the new formula. The previous product left no tacky feel when it was applied.Really disappointed in Olay changing the product without telling customers they have done this. There's really nothing to dislike here. I put a picture so you could get a better idea of how big it is, and my hands are bigger than the average female hand. My hand is the size of a large man's hand. So as you see it could go in a big purse but it's not what I would call purse size and would take up about half the space in an average makeup zip bag.It really feels bigger than 4 oz. The scent is sweet ...not too strong. It does not change the color of your face or your foundation... it is sheer. It's not greasy, and after you apply it your face just feels softer,not oily. I really like it and I will continue buying it because it works as a moisturizer and it's not as expensive as some. I'm 72 and do try to remember to use fancier.products like but c with e and retinol moisturizer too, but I don't have many wrinkles,so this is great for me. My skin is what I would describe as dry at this point in my life. I like getting two of these at once also, and that way I can keep one in the car where I sometimes end up applying my makeup while my husband drives. I will add a recent photo of my complexion, but honestly I feel like genetics plays a big part. Sometimes, when I look at my neck, I wonder if there was a turkey in my family tree. What is wrong with the Olay Original? I have been using the Olay original for over 20 years and it is a must have in my home. I am buying it from retailers like CVS, Walmart, Duane Reade and obviously Amazon. I noticed the change last year and called the Olay number. The customer service was no help because she was baffled at my question about the changes of the ingredients. Even the bottle has changed and it looks bootleg and she said the only change was to the bottle. I currently have 3 bottles in my home and they all smell different. One is more floral than the others, the most recent from Amazon smells a little bit like plastic. I had other ones that also smelled like plastic, like the bottle smell has leeched into the lotion and had to tossed it. The consistency of the formula has changed and I am upset because I have been using this product for over 20 years and always have multiple bottles in my home. I'm a lifelong Oil of Olay user, by way of my Grandmother who faithfully used Olay products to maintain beautiful skin. This is a great deal. Having received it and trying to use it, something about this product just feels off. My skin does not like it. Initially I was thinking the product was counterfeit, but after reading some of the other reviews and doing other research it seems this might just be the new Olay formula. I've used this product for many years, and my experience with this formula is that the smell is heavy and overpowering, and the texture is sticky with an oily residue. It is inevitable that things change, but this new formula just won't work for me. I still do like the 7-in-1 formula and the Regenerist moisturizer products. I'm familiar with Olay, have used for a long time, and I'm doubtful what I received is he correct product:- This product is very watery, drips right out of the bottled when upside down. Olay is a thicker consistency, I can hold my hand upside down and it barely moves.- This product doesn't have the Olay smell. Olay has a very distinct smell and this smells like nothing.- The bottle isn't the pinkish tinge it should be, and the liquid too. It's just off-white, like eggshell...All that said, it seems to be doing fine moisturizing-wise... it's just... not Olay. Unless Olay has changed recently???? I'm very confused. I'll keep using the product, haven't had any adverse effects and I'm not worried it'll do anything to me, but I won't be purchasing through Amazon again. Read more
