I really like this bowl as a bowl but for some reason mine doesn't stay stuck to any surface. When I secure it on a tray or table and test the suction, it is perfect. About 30 seconds into my baby eating out of it, she somehow just lifts it up without problem... and throws it on the floor (or wall or cat). Love this bowl. It's the perfect size for my 2 year old and easy to clean. The suction power is pretty good. I wouldn't say excellent, as she has gotten it unstuck a couple times, but its definitely better than about 95% of the suction bowls I've bought, even ones I've paid much more for. And I bought ALOT of bowls! It's a pretty color as well. Appearance isn't necessarily important but its a small thing that I appreciate. Drawn by the design, I bought a whole set of table wear from Ola baby including a plate, a bowl, a steam bowl and two spoons. I really love the way they look and feel and I wanted to love them. However, I was disappointed to realized that they're not really suitable for dishwashers. Doesn't matter if I put them on top or lower track, there always seems to be a lot of dish detergent left on the surface, which has a matt finish. When I then put hot food in the dish wears, the food would be stained with the taste and smell of detergent. Yikes! I started to clean them by hand, only to find out that it's extremely hard to clean grease from this material. Now i'm going with stainless steel table wears for my toddler. My kid was 10 months when we first got this bowl. The suction bowls we currently had were bamboo with a silicone base and made the loudest sound hitting the floor so I had to find an alternative. He figured out how to take the bowl off the table pretty quick, but he's done that to every suction bowl and plate we tried. What I like about this bowl is, it's one piece with no seams, has a removable lid, there's a lip on the inside of the bowl that prevents food from coming out and helps the child's grip. The whole thing is silicone, so it doesn't make a huge noise when hitting the kitchen floor and if they decide to use the bowl as a chew toy, have at it! Read more

Awesome bowl & the suction is amazing. I had bought a few bowls and quite honestly the suction wasn't there & inevitably meals were served to the dog (the pup didn't mind it!). This bowl actually suctioned to the packaging that's how wonderful it was. We use it both in the microwave to heat up cereal and in the freezer to cool down meals and it has held up very nicely. The little tab at the bottom of the bowl is an awesome feature to un-suction the bowl from the table. I didn't know a bowl could have so many hidden features. Only bowl I will ever use. Read more

The suction works perfectly and it’s easy to clean! I love the fact it comes with a lid for the times I make too much food to where both trays are completely filled and I can store the extra in a bowl, closed. Or when my baby doesn’t finish what I gave her. I could simply close it and put it in the fridge without wasting any paper, plastic wrap, or foil...The price may be a little high for what it is but it’s totally stain resistant.
