I have very fine hair. I've used this product several times now, trying different application methods (e.g., Heavy spray, light spray, dry hair, wet hair, spray into my hands and apply) and just don't like the results. Honestly this is the best hairspray I've ever used. I have long hair to the center of my back. It holds my style and curl well without leaving my hair crunchy or stiff. It doesn't have a strong scent. This product has even kept my style in place during high humidity, wind, or light rain...which I know because I am often outdoors for intermittent periods of time daily all year. I give the product 4 stars because I like everything about it....however, this is second can of hairspray (2 different product lines) I've ordered from Amazon that has come with no cap. Not complaining, but hairspray dispenser area can dry up and clog up with no cap. Just a nuisance! I bought this because of the description of being “heat protection”... there are very little directions or description on the container to verify this. One thinks of a heat protector as being put on prior to using a dryer or a curling or flat iron which this is NEITHER... So it is falsely stated on the post for it. There is no shine and it makes my hair feel dry. I shook it, held it not too close and used it sparingly. I think it would feel stiff had I not then brushed through it with a all natural bore bristle paddle brush. Then I felt it did keep my hair from becoming frizzy in the humidity. So I guess I will use it from time to time but am still disappointed in the inaccurate description of it... WIll not buy again... Read more

I DONT know if I used it correctly but I sprayed in my hair (I have a straight hair) and in minutes my hair was so hard like a rock!!!!!! I couldn't even brush it . I had to wash my hair to take the product out of it to be able to brush again. Read more

I've only had this hairspray for a a few days, so I really don't know how much it will moisturizer my hair. It has good holding power as long as it is not too windy. I love the scent of this product. I also use the shampoo and conditioner in this product line. I will definitely buy it again. Read more

I bought this product to protect against heating tools, but it leaves my hair super stiff and unmanageable. I even have a hard time to brush my hair after applying this product. I was looking for something that protected my hair while treating it and leaving soft. This is not the right product. I will keep looking. Read more

I love all of the OGX products and have been a fan for months, but this hairspray has got to go. I've been noticing how dry my hair is, and couldn't put a finger on why. I tried changing shampoos, conditioners, got a silk pillowcase, stopped using heat on it, and finally determined THIS hairspray was the culprit!
