So I actually purchased this to use in my acrylic pouring art... however, I use this sort of product in my hair so I figured to leave a relevant review I ought to use it in my hair lol.I love the smell! It smells like roasted coconut... toasted coconut? Well regardless it smells yummy lol.It makes my hair shine but use sparingly, it can easily make your hair look oily. I recently purchased this because my hair is (extremely) color treated. I needed something to smooth it out and help prevent breakage of my ends. My hair is naturally wavy and somewhat thin and this product works WONDERS. My ends are currently bleached and it has made my hair incredibly soft without leaving much residue.That being said, I did receive a broken bottle. The white pump part has broken off in shipping. I've been using this serum for a month or two now and I generally like it, but it's definitely meant to be used sparsely.I have shortish shoulder-length hair, and my hair has always been quick to frizz, and slightly wavy but mostly straight. Not too thick, not too thin, and easily manageable. I had been struggling to find something to give my hair that extra sheen and volume, and I think this is it.When I use this, it gives my hair volume without weighing it down, but it keeps the ends from looking frayed and withered, which I have always had problems with. From day one I noticed my hair felt better, softer, and less frizzy. Plus, it smells amazing, truly amazing.When you apply it, do NOT use very much. I barely use half a pump, maybe three times per week immediately after a shower (using the shampoo and conditioner by the same company). When applying it to your hair, it helps to rub it into your hands and apply it to the ends of your hair - DO NOT apply near your scalp. This serum is an oil, and the natural oils in your hair are closest to your scalp, so keep this away from it or your hair will look super oily. Before I used this day-to-day I tried it at home so I could figure out how much oil to apply, and where to apply it, so definitely give yourself a day to use the product before you begin using it regularly. I swear by this for my beard. Beard oils don't even come close to what this can do. After I shower, I take a dab of this and spread it into my beard. I am able to shape it and set it. And it stays that way. It is also pleasant smelling. ...but that's not all. If you watched the movie "My Life in Ruins" the father uses Windex I believe as an universal remedy panacea thinking that it has magical properties. Same with me using this product. I know that is intended for hair but whenever I get a rash or other skin problem I put a little bit on that area and in a few days is gone. I had a colleague who fell from a bike and came all scraped on the head, gave him a few drops of this and a few days later he was as good as new. It might not work for everybody as we all have different kinds of skins some more or less thick or sensitive but it does work for me. It does not absorb in the skin so if you you put it on an area it will be there a few days later...but it smells good and is not gross just kind of oily. Read more

I’ve always loved this product. The price is a bit hefty online, in shops it’s a lot cheaper. I have type 3c curly hair and the serum adds a nice lightweight coat that adds a bit of shine and life to my hair, locking in the moisture and sealing the ends. I’m not a fan of coconut oil but this is just different.**i saw someone’s review saying it fried their hair when straightening: I personally don’t use this oil as a protector so for anyone straightening I recommend tresemmé heat protector then after straightening use one pump of this serum maximum to add shine & lightly go through the hair. Having seen a vid online about using this to protect the ends of your hair when styling i ordered this. Used it, dried my hair then proceeded to run my straightening iron through it. The end result being the last three inches of my hair frizzled up like a piece of bacon hitting a hot frying pan! All over! Rushed to the Salon in tears to be told that what had happened was that my hair, even though it looked dry, had retained the oil, hence the 'cooking' as soon as the heat hit it. I am in the process if growing my hair and had to have at least 4" cut off all over! Devastated, and have spent last 4 months trying to disguise the fact my jaw length side fringe, is now about 3" long. As we girls know there is nothing worse than losing your fringe length!
