Best drug store pencil ever. I wear a lot of eye makeup. I’ve finally found an eyeliner that stays on all day. I wear contacts and put drops in my eyes several times a day. The eyeliner stays put!! Why are people saying you can’t sharpen it?! It’s NOT a retractable eyeliner. You CAN sharpen it. It looks plastic but you can sharpen it. I use the NYX sharpener and it’s great. It’s a soft pencil so if you use it daily you’ll need to sharpen often if you like a sharp point. If you prefer a smudgier look you can use it more dull. The pigment is great. Nice and black. And for the people that say they can’t remove it, IT’S WATERPROOF. You need to use a makeup remover to take it off. Common sense. Buy it. It’s great. Read more

I bought this because I didn’t want to spend so much on the Urban Decay version. It’s a good dupe and I actually like it better. Like the UD one, it goes on very easy but I noticed that with both of them, they become a little more difficult to use after you have to sharpen it. It doesn’t seem as smooth. It seems to stay on very well and I don’t notice it moving around much. I use it only on my waterline/lower lash line so sometimes it disappears a bit but not terribly.It is very difficult to wash off but I don’t mind; I rather that than having to reapply it constantly because it’s so easily removable.Safe to say I will be buying this over the UD pencil and not just because of the price. I’ve been looking for a blue for water line for over 5 years! I used to use CiCi bright blue! Which was perfect at bringing out the turquoise in my green blue eyes! CiCi went out of business! Hence the search ! I ordered sunrise blue ! While not as bright as the old CiCi it is only one I’ve tried that has come close! I bought this for my Halloween makeup as Poison Ivy. I used it as an eyeliner, as well as to draw green veins/ ivy on my skin. It blends well immediately after you put it on, and it stays put. It goes on really smoothly, too. I love this and would consider buying it in other colors, especially for the price. Read more

This is the best eyeliner. It literally glides on. It stays on all day. I have seriously watery eyes, and this stuff does not budge! I originally bought this brand because it is cruelty free and very inexpensive. I'm sticking with it because I love it! I bought the golden olive, and it is perfect for my light brown/hazel eyes. First, this eyeliner formula is incredibly. It glides on the eye with absolutely no tugging or pulling. It's easy to blend and it stays put best when paired with a touch of eyeshadow. The pigment is incredible - colour payoff is visible with even the slightest touch of this pencil.As for the colour, Golden Bronze is closer to being a reddish, orange bronze. I have warm undertones and brown eyes so this works really well for me despite being a highly pigmented bronze. It almost has russet undertones and it's definitely not a yellow gold or tan colour. I'd especially recommend this to anybody with dark hair and/or brown eyes. I use it with just some mascara and it looks like I've put in way more effort than I really have done. I used to buy NYX Tropical Green which was perfect, but NXY appears to have stopped selling that colour now, so I tried this paler green which seems to be the only shade of green they are selling now and it is awful. It does not glide on easily, the colour is non-existant and it also caused a slight allergic reaction in my eyes. I have since bought GOSH velvet slide on eye pencils from Superdrug and their green/turquoise colours suit me more, also Rimmel's Jungle Green is a good base colour for me. Hope that helps. I've been using another famous brand of glide on eye pencils for years and this is 1/3 to 1/4 the price and much better.The other brand was as soft to go on but was smudging even if I tried to let it set for a min. The older version did not smudge but dragged more going on, so I am very happy this is soft going on and although smudges a tiny bit on one eye still is nowhere near as bad as the way more expensive one. Really disappointed with my purchase. The eyeliner smudged all over the skin under my eye and left lots of debris. It had a bitty texture too. I had my hopes up after reading other reviews across websites about NYX eyeliners, but in reality it was a waste of money. Read more
