I originally stumbled upon the NYX butter gloss in high school like 10 years ago when my mom used to order from Avon catalogs & let me pick what I wanted and lipgloss was one of the few things I chose. I picked out 3 pinkish shades I believe they were fortune cookie, Tiramisu & I could’ve sworn I had one named ballet slipper that I LOVED but I guess it wasn’t from NYX. Anyway, I was oddly surprised at how bomb the consistency and color was and Fell IN LOVE! They lasted me a long time & But I ended up misplacing 2 of them over time and I cling to my favorite shade as long as I could (ballet slipper) till I lost that too. I was really looking for the 3 shades I had chosen back then but anyways, I only gave 4 stars bc I wanted more pink tones, but it’s a fair variety. I really like these! They are very comfortable. They're soft in pigment but buildable. They're not sticky. And the deeper colors settle into the lips like a nice soft stain. Very pretty!! I recently threw away ALL of my lip products (sad story) and needed to start fresh with things that wouldn't irritate my lips in their currently VERY sensitive state. Flavor? I think only one has flavor. Some make my lips tingle, but they don't plump them. One shows as dark pink but comes out as red. The red one is an orange red, I was able to keep 10 of the 12. They are handy sizes. Really handy. Easily goes in a pocket. There are some odd colors in it. I would buy it again IF there weren't tingly ones in it. If there weren't ones that I guess, are supposed to last all day but are just like dry concrete on the lips and if I could pick my colors. I've been doing the winged cat eye daily for 15+ Years now. I have small eyes they look best this way so I know my liquid eyeliner. I typically buy drug store brand mid to low priced and I've had much better results with liners half the price wet n wild breakup proof being one of them. This Fades shortly after leaving the house! I ordered this item twice. First for myself and the second time for a gift. The one for me came like this. I didn't think much of the paper label glued on and half peeled off on the box. But when I eventually tried one of the lipsticks I noticed the bottle was almost dry.
