I'm not much for lipstick. I have a Mary Kay Natural Beaute that's pretty but wears off quickly and smells very perfumey. My sister raved about this butter formula so I thought I'd give FIZZIES a try. The color is WAY off. I know the computer screen can distort a bit, but good grief. It's SHADES brighter, oranger, neon-er, everything-er. I was going for a my-natural-lip-color-but-better kind of thing. This is 80's party or else. My husband's head reeled back when he came around the corner and saw my face. This brand might just be too flashy for me. That said, I do like how the lipstick feels on my lips. It's very moist. I'll wear it around today and if it stays put and doesn't dry out, I might try pops/root beer float or sweet tart since the price is low.(update) I LOVE ROOTBEER FLOAT!! (now it's called Pops) It's not too brown, it's a nice mauvey sort of thing. Darker than my natural lip and very flattering for my summer season (complexion, not time of year). Just pink enough. It has a very faint rootbeer scent to it. Hardly noticeable. This stuff would stay on and moist all day if I didn't need to eat. Reapplication after eating seems acceptable.SWEET TART still seems too bright/neon for me, but I might hang onto it. The lipstick arrived broken, first of all. I attempted to put the lipstick back together but it was a waste of time because the shade was so ugly and cheap looking! The shade is a very garish pink, definitely not honey colored or beige. Plus its pigmentation was super weak, a lot like a dollar store lipstick or kids’ dress-up play makeup. These colors are very similar. The pink is nearly neon and the colors I bought are not flattering. I do have root beer float in this lipstick and I love it but these 4 lighter ones are a no go for me. It is moisturizing, however. I am old too so maybe it’s just gross on oldies. I like this lipstick a lot. The "butter" aspect of it makes it very smooth and it doesn't cake on your lips. It's kind of like a tinted lip balm in that you can layer it so that you only have a little color or a lot of color. I'm giving it four stars because although I wound up loving the color, it's not the color that I ordered. I ordered the "Hunk" color which is described as "Blue Violet." I expected a purple color. Slightly a red-orange, but a beautiful color. Add a touch of orange gloss (Mac Rising Sun, for example) and it just blows up! has the Mac type vanilla scent so very compatible with lots of other brands lip products. A very good value for performance at an easy price point. Read more

Slightly sheer and moisturizing. I have to reapply several times a day but I'm fine with that; I wanted something that was between a tinted balm and my matte lipsticks, and it's easy to reapply--plus it's inexpensive. The bright pink color is called seashell in the title but HUBBA BUBBA in the product selection array. The picture is of a bubble gum bright pink. It's actually NOTHING as pictured. It's beige. And on the lips it's pale sand, almost white. What a lie! And yeah, you can't return it. Read more

I absolutely love this lipstick shade in gumdrop. It’s one of my go-to’s, and is the perfect shade of pink. It’s super moisturizing! I love these lipstick, they are rich and creamy. Like any other standard lipstick, they will transfer and wear off but not badly. It is a bit more bright pink than the coral colour I was hoping for - my fault - that is my only issue.
