I recently found this company while thinking about changing up my protein powder. I really like their stance on being completely transparent and how open they are about calling out some of the shady practices in the industry. I'm not a body builder or even a hardcore gym rat, but I have been upping my exercise and workouts so have been supplementing my diet with some extra protein.In terms of this product, it seems to do the job great. I don't get any sort of stomach discomfort, and it keeps you feeling pretty sated for a while after drinking some, probably in part due to the slower absorbing casein.Flavor wise, I've only tried the Dutch Chocolate. The flavor itself is pretty subtle, and you mostly just taste "protein flavor". It's not the best tasting powder I've had, but it's not bad, so I typically just drink it down and move on. If I wanted a milkshake, I'd go get one. Previously, I was using Optimum Nutrition's Extreme Milk Chocolate, which had a great taste and good amount of protein, but no real transparency and did have things like creamer, which I'm sure helped with the taste.Price seems fair, and is on par with most other more premium protein products, so I can't complain at all there.Edit 2020-08-06: Got the Strawberry Pastry in to try it and the flavor on this one is awesome. Taste better than I imagined. Many protein shakes, there is a overwhelming taste. Not this one. The chocolate is very subtle and they actually make an unflavored version. I am very curious to try that as im curious if I made my own flavors with it.Product itself is solid. The container is sealed twice, once underneath the lid and again with plastic over the lid. The container I received has an expiration date of 10/2019, totally acceptable with just over 1.5 years left on it.CONCLUSION:I plan on being a customer for life, this company is amazing! This has become a household favorite. Absorbs quickly into water and is very smooth and 'Yoo-hoo'-like. Added to milk it becomes basically chocolate milk/shake. Having a blend of whey and casein is ideal, i wish more supplements were sold like this, I'll have to try the other flavors, but chocolate is just about perfect so hesitant to mess with success. I gave it 3 stars for the transparency of ingredients and for what I can only assume is quality proteins used. Other than that, I can’t get passed the flavor of the Oreo pie or whatever it’s called. Best way I can describe it is, it tastes the way an old blanket or shirt does when it’s been in the closet for WAY too long. I MIGHT give a different flavor a chance since Amazon has an amazing return policy. But this one was a huge miss for me. I can only assume it was a bad batch.
