I have been a wound care nurse since 1993. I have used 0.9% normal (AKA isotonic NaCl) saline almost every day in my career. This is the right stuff. I had oral surgery and I know both from dentist and my work experience that rinsing with this every day is the fastest way to healing. This size is the perfect take along to use 4 times during the day.When they are told to rinse their mouth with salt water most people believe that if a little salt is good a lot of must be better and they are very mistaken in this belief. Normal Saline should taste like tears. Other concentrations of saline and sterile water are not the same as this. This is a life saver. So first off, I went to the ER for a dog bite that left a whole in my wrist and you could see a tendon. I was treated with just a saline rinse and a bandage wrap. $200 later I was "good to go". I got steril saline, bandages, a large syringe and steril gauze for a little over $15 on Amazon in case of another emergency.
