I have very long and thick hair. I probably should have got a larger barrel. It makes smaller waves (if you choose to do that way) If not, you can use larger pieces of hair, which I do. I like it a lot. It comes with a glove. It heats up quickly. Use the glove if you are not used to these because you can certainly burn your fingers! Waves last well ( based on your type of course!) I have a Nume curling wand I purchased at a reputable box store and love it! I wanted to get a larger barrel size for a different look. This wand doesn’t compare to the one I bought elsewhere. It doesn’t get as hot, it doesn’t curl well, and the curls don’t stay. If I didn’t have the other wand to compare I wouldn’t realize what a huge difference in quality it is to the point where I wonder if this is a knock off! Read more

The wand is as described. Definitely gets hot enough and easy to use. My hair doesn’t hold the curl as long as I would like. With other wands I used I could wear it up to 3 days, but this one my hair is pretty flat by the end of the day. Read more

I bought this curling wand almost a year ago, and I use it almost every day and it still works perfectly.
