I read reviews on here saying it was like putting honey on your face... and they are not joking. It was literally the consistency of honey... did not pull ANY hair and left a big sticky mess. They also give you "wax paper" which is not paper at all... it's thin strips of styrofoam cut into rectangles. All the instructions and packaging was in Japanese. I have received the full male Brazilian wax (the 'Brozilian') from professional spas. I thought I would try my hand at doing it myself.This kit provides everything you need - the sugar wax, paper strips, popsicle sticks, and "after shave lotion". I used probably about 20 - 30% of the wax with one use. You get plenty of the paper strips. I cut them in half. I think they could probably give you more of the popsicle sticks for this kit to balance it out... Depending on your comfort level, you could probably do multiple applications per stick, but i didn't want to cause contamination in the wax. I did use both ends. You only get 3 packets of the after shave lotion... So it would have been nicer to get a bit more. The after shave lotion isn't so much a lotion... It seems to be alcohol based to close pores.The kit also comes with directions that are pretty detailed for a male Brazilian wax process (which i found helpful). There is also a video that is linked via QR code that explains the appropriate viscosity, which should be adjusted by warming or cooling the wax. Mine seemed fine at room temperature.After reviewing the directions / video, I found the process to be fairly straight forward and effective. I would say that the pain is comparable to getting it done by a pro. I did end up with extra sticky residue throughout the process, which makes it difficult to apply pressure to the area after remove the strip, because you would get transfer of that stickiness to your hands / gloves.Waxing the scrotum was challenging... There is just a lot of extra skin to manage. If you go to a pro, they might ask you to help hold skin tight. If you are doing this yourself, then you won't have the luxury of those extra hands. I'm a veteran waxer, but this is my first time trying sugar wax. I am a woman, but the product information said it was suitable for women as well. I tried it on my leg. Here is my story.This is a nice little kit, well-packaged with a detailed, full-color instruction booklet with LOTS of PG-13 diagrams (this product is definitely targeted to men). I now know way too much about the hair growth patterns of male genitalia.This product applies a lot like hot/microwave wax, except for the "hot" and "microwave" part. You spread the brown syrup stuff on your skin "as thinly as possible" with the wooden sticks, press/smooth a piece of the waxing strips against it firmly until the brown goo soaks through, and then rip it off using a quick upwards motion.So, all steps I've done before very successfully with hot wax, but it didn't work with this product. You can see my picture shows a few hairs pulled out at the roots, but most of it was left. I tried reapplying the strip and doing it again, but it still didn't work.The brochure recommends the wax be at 95 degrees, which they seem to believe is room temperature, but they also recommend putting it in the refrigerator if it is too thin, so I'm all kinds of confused. My house is about 82 degrees, which is plenty warm, and what kind of place has room temperature hotter than 95 where you'd have to refrigerate it because it was too thin?In summary, for me, this is more frustrating to achieve the right temperature than a heated wax (the main selling point on this is that you don't have to heat it....) and way less effective. So this absolutely is NOT traditional wax and won't set up the same! It doesn't get "hard" like traditional wax and stays like a super thick honey. With the soft sugar wax, you apply the sugaring wax in the OPPOSITE direction of hair growth, press a strip down on the wax, and quickly pull in the SAME direction of hair growth to remove. This is the exact opposite of how regular soft wax is applied and removed. So once you know that you can properly use this item and you won't be dissatisfied.SO we tested this sugar wax out as we're familiar with sugar wax and this one's pretty good quality. I bought this for myself (a woman) even though it's marketed toward men, and it works great. It comes with everything needed, and I haven't had any problems with leaks or mess. The instructions that it comes with aren't good, so make sure you watch some Youtube tutorials and read some articles online first, so that you'll be successful. I tried once without success and had to psych myself up into doing it again once I learned better techniques, and was much more successful the second time. The soft wax is supposed to be better for your skin; it's a little trickier than hot wax to figure out and is really sticky, but worth it once you get it figured out. Read more

NULL Waxing Kit is advertized for men, but I think it's just to emphasize that it can deal with longer and coarser hair - I think it will work well for anyone - men and ladies. I love that it does not require heating and is ready to use right out of the package. You may need to make adjustments if it's too cold or too hot where you are, and you may want to check product videos out: they show the best viscosity and share some tips on how to use the wax and the strips properly.It's really easy to use and the jar is enough to do the whole body if you desire.I tried it on my legs and it worked beautifully.
