I have dental issues and it seems that almost every cereal or protein bar on the market is designed to chip teeth, pull out fillings, or wedge itself firmly inside of cavities. This is not like that and I enjoyed my first bar this evening for dessert and didn't end up harming myself. It's what appears to be crisped rice coated in dark chocolate with either coconut or pretzel on the inside. This makes it kind of like a fancy Crunch bar.It's currently covered by EBT, which is great. They also go the extra mile and ship it with an ice pack during summer months to prevent the chocolate bars from melting in transit. Keep in mind that this means it will always be shipped to arrive in 2 days from purchase, regardless of the date you set for it. I had asked for everything in this order to be sent all at once a few days later but this still arrived early. They used environmentally friendly paper insulation. These bars are so delicious! I love using them as a dessert when I have a craving for sweets after meals. It is hard to find vegan bars that don't have a chalky texture, but these bars came through! There is a box I usually get at a warehouse store with two flavors, the pretzel/sea salt, and another flavor, but it doesn't have the peanut butter cup flavor and I have to say that the peanut butter cup flavor is SO GOOD! The price is pretty comparable too. They do have a little more sugar than I would like, at 14grams, but it is not too bad if using to fill a sweet treat craving. Read more

I love nugo bars. We eat them with a glass of milk, keep them in our glove box in car stored in cool garage and a couple in our gym bags. They are 200 calories and also satisfy our sweet craving, but they hold us off when hungry and a long time till a meal. Buy from a reputable vendor. Read more

I LOVE the mint flavor of these bars, and my kids like the regular chocolate chip ones.Be warned that the Almond flavor and Pretzel flavor ones taste like salted chocolate... WAY too salty.
