Pro:They are soft and gentle enough for a 4 month old. I love that they are small enough to fit comfortable in her mouth, but also feel to actually hold food. A lot of baby spoons are flatter and 1st foods usually slide off of them or they barely hold anything. These have a nice "pocket" that hold a good amount of food without being too big.Con:These spoons stain! I took a picture of them after feeding my daughter carrots. The spoons were washed and then soaked in vinegar for two nights and then washed again to see if that would help and it didn't.Overall I would definitely get these spoons again. Ive only used this item a couple of times so I cant say how it will stand up to wear, however I am extremly happy with the size and dexterity of it. I had ordered some spoons that were super flexible, and although soft on the gums, they were difficult to use. These fit my hand, and my babys mouth perfect.Edit: Ive used these spoons on both hot and cold items...and found that I CANNOT trust the color change. As a first time mom with a newborn, I ordered these up along with other spoons to be ready for when my son started eating. I had 4 kinds of spoons but only 4 of these. Now my son is eating and they are by far my favorite. I can't even tell you why. Maybe the soft round shape or the soft plastic. I never use the hot indicator because I check my son's food temperate before I give it to him? But I always prefer these to the point where I bought more despite having plenty of other spoons. What I don't like is they stain SUPER easy, then look dirty. Watermelon stained one, carrot stained one and they forever look kinda icky. I also don't like how my nephew has the same ones but we can't use them cause they get chewed up pretty easy (con of soft plastic I guess) then leave jagged points that could be painful for a teething baby. I am writing this review as a concerned mother. While I do not know whether the spoons I received were genuine, they certainly did not look so to me. The spoons looked extremely poorly manufactured with visible defects. In fact, they looked like cheaply made half melting plastic toy. My son is a special needs baby and he has a thing about the textures you put in his mouth. But he absolutely loves these spoons. The soft rim made it so much easier to get him to eat baby food.The only cons are that they stain really easily and after about a year of use the rim behins to come off of the spoon. This leaves it open for food to be left behind when washing them. So they're great spoons for the kiddos but you just need to keep an eye on them after a good amount of use. 👍🏻 Read more

Like others have commented, these stain terribly. This happened after the first use of each and the stain will not come out, so if you choose to get this be prepared for them to be permanently yellow-orange. Also, it takes a lot for the heat-activated color change to occur, so really can't rely on that either (I held it in hot water for several minutes and it barely gave any color change in that time. Aside from those things, it gets the food into my baby's mouth.... But that's all you can expect. Read more

These are just ok. They seem to do a fine job of indicating when food is too hot, but they all stained. They also aren't my favorite shape of spoon since we also purchased the OXO Baby Spoons, which are more of a flat surface than a cupped surface and it is easier to get all of the food in her mouth with each bite with those.These seem to be more of a novelty than a practical solution to feedings, especially since it isn't that hard to test the food for temperature without them. I bought these spoons and the Spuni spoons when we started solid foods with my 4+ month old. I think the Spuni worked best for the first couple times as my baby was figuring it out but since then he seems to eat better with these Nuby spoons. These spoons also hold a lot of food and are soft. My baby loves to chew on them maybe too much. Agree with other reviews that they get discolored but it doesn't impact the functionality. Ich habe mich nach langer Überlegung für diese Löffel für den Breistart entschieden.Leider kann man sich die Farbe nicht aussuchen, ich habe die Löffel in rot bekommen.Die Löffel sind gut verarbeitet und gerade für den kleinen Babymund nicht zu groß. Jedoch verfärben sie sehr schnell. Wir haben mit Karotte angefangen und gleich nach dem ersten Brei war der Löffel rot und das ging auch nicht mehr weg.Die Löffel liegen gut in der Hand und sind auch nicht zu hart an der Spitze, jedoch hätte ich mir die Spitze trotzdem ein bisschen weicher gewünscht. Das Füttern funktioniert jedoch einwandfrei.Meiner Meinung nach ist der Löffel etwas zu temperaturempfindlich, aber besser Vorsicht wie Nachsicht :)Ansonsten kann ich die Löffel ohne weiteres empfehlen! Ich bin Happy, für den Beikost start genau das richtige. Die Löffel sind vorne sehr schmal sodass kleinste Babies ihn gut in den Mund nehmen können. Das mit dem verfärben brauche ich jetzt nicht, ist aber ein gutes Gimmick. Allerdings find ich dass die Löffel Recht tief sind, sodass immernoch viel Brei drauf bleibt, wenn das Baby ihn im Mund hatte. So gut kann mein Beikost Anfänger noch nicht essen.....Würde ich wieder kaufen. Aber ggf sind aufgrund der Tiefe der Löffel die von Hipp besser.... Read more

Wir haben das Vorgängermodell vor 6 Jahren beim ersten Kind benutzt. Wir waren voll zufrieden und die Temperaturanzeige durch Verfärbung funktioniert zum Teil noch heute.Nun beim zweiten Kind die "neue" Version gekauft.Absolut unbrauchbar. Die Löffel sind viel zu hart. Keine Ahnung wo der weiche Rand sein soll. Der Löffel ist so steif, dass man ihn zum Füttern fast bis zur Stirn heben muss, damit das Kleinkind den Brei in den Mund bekommt.Temperaturerkennung durch Verfärben hat bereits beim ersten Mal schon nicht funktioniert.
