Bought this cup to aid my partner who suffers with hand tremors. Cup came with directions for use and a link to a website, sounds strange a cup coming with instructions but they are informative and very helpful. Other half says the cup is easy to use, even on his worst days and the lid is particularly helpful. The cup holds both hot and cold drinks and the lid stays on securely. There is a small hole in the lid for those who may need to use a straw. The cup washes well and it is light so can easily be carried in handbag when we’re allowed out again. It wouldn’t be obvious to others that you were using a ‘special’ cup so this can easily be used once cafes are open again without anyone noticing. Would definitely recommend to others. Read more

I got this for my mum, and she loved it so much that I got her another one. She has a bad tremor. There is a technique to using it though, so anyone getting one should check out the video on the handsteady web site, otherwise they might have problems. Also if the tremor is very very extreme then there can still be spillage so its not 100%, but overall it is so much better than an ordinary cup, and more dignified than similar beakers. Read more

I have rated this four stars as when it's dropped, hot liquid doesn't rapidly pour out. However, my mother is unable to get used to the ergonomics of cup (the handle stays still as it's on a hinge with the cup which pivots/swings). Read more
