It's offers 450mg of Milk Thistle extract versus 150mg which is is the standard potency. It's what the Vet recommended for my 9 year old dog when his blood tests showed his liver enzymes were slightly elevated. I compared this product with others being sold out there less expensively but the extract and flavonoid potency was considerably less per soft gel. Granted these soft gels might be a little larger than others sold out there on the market. However, their not exceptionally large with the size being around 7/8th of an inch in length and 3/16ths of a inch in diameter.
