So many vitamin choices out there. So many different types of vitamins in the mixes and varying dosages.This one is great. For us, there weren’t any questionable vitamins in this mix. It’s good for different genders - don’t have to worry about too much iron, for example.We’ve never had any issues with taking these (like heartburn, nausea, upset stomach, etc., which can happen with some supplement.)I am a fan of the NOW brand and feel I get a good quality product from them.It’s hard to know from researching online, which brands actually put what they say they do into their products, but I’ve seen lots of good reviews around the internet and even more importantly my experience with their products are positive. This is good stuff. No aftertaste, tablet is not huge like most vitamin pills out there, and easy to swallow. I like that it doesn't have huge amounts of vitamin B in it like most other brands. Also like that it has beta carotene in it instead of retinal palmitate. Also its nice they added calcium and magnesium in small amounts, I don't do well with mega doses. WhenI managed a Health Food/Supplement Store I discovered Now Brand. These are the only vitamins I have taken that I can say that I truly feel a difference in my energy level and mental clarity. I've even tried the really, really pricey ones and didn't really find much difference. From my work at that store, I learned not to take the cheap drugstore brands. Too many health professionals told me that they don't dissolve in most people and just pass right out of the body. I also learned that NOW brand is family owned and don't spend a lot of marketing so they can keep their costs low. They have a high criteria for quality and produce excellent vitamins and supplements. I don't know if any of this is still true, but the NOW products I buy seem to hold up their quality.The problem with NOW, though, is that they are hard to find in retail stores.
