They are a good color and soft to the finger tips. However, if you have sensory issues like me, it feels like a scouring pad against the face and shoulders and neck. It comes with black rubber bands.....why arent they clear? Im bummed but I am also an artist so I will fix them for you. For me...whateves. Read more
These are a lifesaver for me! I in a fever and allergy haze I cut my real dreads a bit too short. I have a dread hawk so ended up looking like a drowned rat. I just made a lasso with the loops on these and have them looped around the base of my real dreads giving me length and body. They are great for adding color if you prefer your natural dreads to not be dyed but like to change things up a lot (which I do). They are a bit stiff and itchy at first but with wear and washing they became more flexible and soft. The colors were pretty spot on to advertised. They are a bit bigger around than I prefer but from my past experience with synthetics They should get a bit thinner in time and washing. These weren’t terrible. I was not a fan of the black rubber bands at the ends to make the loop hole at the top of the dreadlock extension though. It gives off an odd look and would be better suited with a clear rubber band on the lighter color haired ones. This was my fault for not paying attention to that detail when I had purchased these. Love them!! Only issues are that they feel a bit stiff, hoping they soften up with some wear, I just put them in yesterday. Installation was super easy and fast! I did have to shortened them about 6", I've never done ANYTHING like this with my hair before, so I got the longest ones I could find, just in case. Read more

I've ordered extensions from Amazon before and the colour was WAY off..Definitely not what was pictured!But these matched the pic perfectly and matched my hair very well.They're a little stiff, which is to be expected, but i think they'll soften a bit the more i wear them.The loops are a bit bigger than pencil and fit around my dreads easily, and never slipped off during use. You get what you pay for they are stiff rough and scratchy. I tried to soften them but it didnt do much. I found it's hard to move my head around since they are so stiff.Though I do not regret buying them I think this is great for costume or short term wearing or to see if your head can handle wearing dreads. I was very impressed with these considering the price. Decent length, color matched. Yes, they are scratchy but most synthetics are. The only thing that concerned me was after I washed them i decided to boil them for 10 minutes. The water turned a very murky dark color and made my house smell almost rank tobacco ish. Read more
