I disliked the the plastic rod not going through the entire sponge head. It bent and flopped around with no control as to direction on legs, arms and especially feet. Recently had a hip replacement and this was not much of an aide. Read more

I got this in order to put a topical prescription on my back. It did a good job of spreading the foam and distributed it evenly, but after about a month the handle poked through the sponge, creating a hole that now makes it difficult (at best) to control or (at worst) scratches the areas of the back I am trying to medicate.I don't know how this could be redesigned to avoid the problem but I do know I'm going to have to look elsewhere for something to use for applying this medication. I figure this cost me about 50 cents for each use I got out of it. I'm glad it wasn't higher priced. Read more

Bought this sponge on a handle to use in the shower. It is defectively designed & poorly made. Used gently for less than 2 weeks and the sponge tore away & separated from the handle. Useless item & requested refund. Save your time & money and seek a better crafted item that will last for a reasonable time under normal use. Read more

Got this item to assist with special soap application prior to hip replacement and thought it would be useful after surgery as well. The sponge immediately split on first use because the handle only extends into the sponge about 1 1/2". VERY disappointed in this product "design." Keep shopping for a better design. Read more

The stem does not go into the sponge very far. Thus, when trying to wash areas such as back and lower limbs, the sponge hardly applies any pressure to the skin, due to the poor construction, for a clean scrub. Would not order this product again. Read more
