Very thick I could carry a baseball in between my thighs,I will get a smaller size next time.otherwise great absorbtion will save on diaper changes,its an all day booster. These are great for around the house out in public it really shows camel toe diaper like nothing I have ever seen before. Doesnt bother me as long as,it keeps my body dry I rather have a large bulge in between my legs than wet pants thats much more embarrassing. I used these pads within adult incontinence briefs for my elderly mother. Sometimes, she would wet very heavily and I went through a period when she was getting soaked even with multiple changes and using the highest level of absorbency brief available. I remembered that the CNAs at the nursing facility would sometimes put pads inside of briefs so I decided to try it. I only did this for overnight trying to avoid her laying in all that wetness for an extended period. These pads did the trick and what I really like about them is they have a wide coverage area and wick moisture away from the patient's skin. I only give four stars because they are a little wide in the between the legs part which creates too much bulk and resulted in chafing in my mother's case. The description of the pad is mostly accurate. One good thing, it is long enough to provide coverage beyond the adult disposable brief or incontinence pad which was a plus. It may be effective for bedridden folks who use adult diapers to allow more time between changes. It is not effective for someone on the move seeking additional absorption for gushing flows that result from medications to reduce fluid retention. The extra width gave me an additional measure of confidence but was bulky to wear underneath clothes. The width between the legs was so wide it bunched and rolled up. The adhesive didn't hold up to the movement resulting from the way it fit. It is made to absorb more fluid, and apparently not as leak protection. When I tried this as additional protection with the adult disposable brief, the extra fluid ended up coming out the top in the front and spreading onto the brief when sitting. During gushes when standing the over flow went down my leg. While it may be helpful for certain situations, it wasn't comfortable, was visible under clothes and didn't stop the leakage from a full stream of fluid. Think about your specific need before buying this, it is rather expensive and not effective in some situations. Read more

NorthShore does nothing half-baked! If you are looking for premium quality diaper doublers, then these are some of the best ever. These doublers (they call them booster pads but I found that they are really more like doublers) provide an excellent amount of additional absorbancy AND comfort. You will notice the same soft "cloud-like" texture in these doublers as in their famous Air Supreme briefs. The only possible complaint I could imagine are that these are heavy duty and may be too large for some of the diaper brands out there. Read more

Super soft, (as all northshore products are). They hold a great deal and add so much capacity, that I can watch a movie, or attend an event... sleep in hotel bed without worry!!!!! This item is intended as an adult diaper booster. It has sticky tape down the middle and made from very soft material. Packaging was great. If you have a heavy wetter this may not be the pad you want but I believe would work best as a daytime booster.
