We bought this same gate 20 years ago. It handled a 145lb Bloodhound running at it full force and did not budge. That gate was still working when we bought this new one but it was looking tathered. This gate is identical. I highly recommend it. Especially if you have a big dog. Read more
It was great until it broke. We installed the gate to block off the kitchen. That's a high traffic part of the house. The gate is wide enough to fit a wide space and tall enough to discourage climbing over it. I loved it at first but...the hinge on the gate broke about two weeks after we installed it. The pins are plastic so they snapped and there is no hope to repair it. We are still using the gate but I'm sure it's not going to last very long. If they change the pins to metal ones this gate would be just about perfect. Read more
