My wife has ordered this product through my account. She loves it. She has been doing weight watchers "freestyle" (I think-not sure which program) and this is her go-to snack-ie. Like 2 points or less. She has lost 60lbs in about 6 months. Whenever we have company over and break out the "good food" she hovers around smelling the delicious aroma then quenches her cravings with a cup of this hot chocolate and ignores the buffet. It's been very strange to see her sipping hot chocolate through the hot summer months. With winter approaching I think she ordered 12 packs of this stuff. I opened the pantry and had to push over a wall of canisters of this stuff to reach the chips. Supposedly this is "off-limits" to me; I'm crushed. She loves it and will continue to buy more. I love this stuff! Made with water it has a strong, barely sweet, chocolate flavor and is a carb/calorie bargain.. I am hoping it becomes available again at a reasonable price. I purchased it a month ago at an already high price, and now the only sellers are offering it at twice what I paid just 4 weeks ago Shame on them. I love it, but not enough to be price-gouged. An absolutely delicious, low carb treat!I am not a huge chocoholic, but do crave an occasional treat. This tastes so wonderful and is totally okay with the low carb lifestyle.I use it in decaf coffee with heavy cream on a cold night, add to low carb yogurt for a yummy treat and add it to almond milk, ice and protein powder for an old fashioned milk shake.....just wonderfulNo artificial or chalky taste. To whomever invented this, thanks! I just got it and immediately made it with hot milk. I followed directions and my spoon was heaping because I put about 250-300ml of milk. Delicious, and low carb on top of that. It is affordable too, 30 servings for $10. Do you know how much the bariatric patients pay for their similar hot drink? They pay $14 for 7 servings. Can you imagine? So this drink is affordable, and cheap actually. Loved the taste, no bad after taste. It dissolve without a problem. I will absolutely buy again. I ordered the Skinny one. Read more
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I actually like this. I made it with a spoon full of almond milk first, and it was too thin. The second time I tried it with spoonful of heavy cream and it was perfect.Heavy cream and and no sweetener is my go-to mix, but sometimes I use coconut cream (about 50ml) instead. Easy to customise and experiment. Read more
I didn't care for this. To me it was barely better than straight cocoa. Sadly I like the traditional sugared up American version...Nestle hot chocolate. My husband loved it. He said it's just the right amount of sweet. He did not grow up drinking sugared up American hot chocolate. He said this tastes more like what he grew up with in Europe. If you are like me, you probably won't care for this. Maybe add some more sweetener? If you are like my husband you will love it. We made it with milk (have tried almond, cashew, and coconut) and 1 level tablespoon of powder. Read more
I am a regular person that just came across this, trying to find a good sugar free mix. This is a 5 star product. I never rate 5 stars on anything. I don’t know why anyone would choose the product they can find in the grocery store. I took a picture of hot cereal made with skinny hot choc. Not only do I love the hot chocolate. But I put it on top of dry cereal, in hot cereal and make cold chocolate milk. Read more
Delicious. This has replaced my choczero hot cocoa. I do Keto and I wanted a drink that I could enjoy with MCT oil and this was perfect. Adding ice makes it so refreshing on a hot day. Read more
I bought both the CAN & the 1kg REFILL bag of this drink believing it would be better for me than other better known brands, available from supermarkets (Options, Cadbury highlights etc). Truth is it's no different I find a little milk to mix this powder to a paste oh & I find 2tspns gives a better taste, the other issue with this is it's meant to be sugar free despite this my glucose levels go UP like a 🚀, when I test my bloods on my meters even after 5/6 hours or more the readings are HIGH consequently I don't allow myself to have more than 1/2 drinks a week!!! I feel like I've been 'duped' because I was looking for a instant sugar free hot chocolate drink, that wouldn't impact on my diabetes - just shows that you can't trust everything you read. I'm not saying it's an unpleasant drink it's far from unpleasant it's just not as good an alternative to the regular chocolate drinks available, I'll think I'll be sticking with just regular COCOA in future. 😡😡 Read more
This is the best Keto friendly hot chocolate in the market. Is has a luscious and strong, real taste, not too sweet chocolate flavour ( can be sweeten with a keto sweetener if neccesary). At only 20 calories per serving and barely any carbs is a godsend for my keto lifestyle. Only bad point is the price. But please Amazon keep it in stock for ever!. Read more
Yuck. Exorbitant price, some good reviews, I thought I'd risk it. Horribly over sweetened. You have to mix it into a paste with warm milk, so you have to heat milk first. It's a pig to mix, it just clumps badly. It has no milk effect in it though it has some listed in the ingredients. You'd be much better off using ordinary cocoa powder and sweetener to your own taste, it's a faff making a paste with cocao too, but you can get a huge bag for the cost of this tiny can of rip-off. It's ok, to me it has a slightly earthy, almost "mushroomy" flavour, so on it's own, it doesn't really excite me to be honest. But it is super low cal and GI, so I have created myself a lowER calorie hot chocolate (I'm a connoisseur) but putting half a teaspoon of this with another "proper" hot chocolate in a reduced quantity to make a nice chocolatey number. Try it kids. Read more
Having tried most of the instant low fat instant hot chocolate drinks and finding them very artificially sweet and in some cases rather sickly, I thought I would give this a try. At £7.50 for the tin it is not cheap but you only need one tsp to make a glass of hot chocolate. I mix the powder with a little boiling water in the bottom of a latte glass and once well mixed, pop it under the spout of my dolce gusto machine with a skimmed milk pod installed. Stir well and enjoy. I found it extremely tasty and not at all sickly. Given at the strength I prefer it, which is the recommended 1 tsp per cup, you will get 35 cups from this tin. I have calculated that from a jar of instant hot chocolate for approx £4 a tub you get only 22 portions and they are quite weak so, in reality, works out about the same cost with a less artificial flavour. It does require a little effort though as not an instant drink. Read more
