I am 36 and have been exercising with weights since I was in middle school. This product landed me in the E.R. I have gone through about a bottle an a half taking 2 pills twice a day. I was taking the product to lower blood pressure as the product advertises it does. However when tested my blood pressure was actually up 20 points higher than it was already before I started taking this. The fire fighters that arrived to pick me up to take me to the E.R. asked what I had been taking. My wife in her infinite wisdom had me take everything with me that I had taken. Asprin, probiotic, fish oil and Snap nitric oxide. The fire fighters first told me that nitric oxide actually raises blood pressure and was likely the cause of my problems. In the E.R the doctor later confirmed that nitric oxide was likely to blame after blood tests, x rays and urine samples. Needless to say, be careful when taking this product! This produst works. I have been training for 10 years now and this by far is the best supplement for pump and motivation. Take it 40 minutes before your workout on an empty stomach and you will feel your muscles fill up. I have better workouts and I'm motivated on days that I start of feeling like I don't want to train. I tried taking l-arginine only then citrulline only and now with on to this product.It does what it's supposed to do and the smaller capsule sizes make it easier for carrying/swallowing compared to other options out there.There is no unpleasant taste to the palate - it's actually quite fragrant in a pleasing way, but is in no way pungent.I think it kicks in a lot faster (within the hours) compared to the taking arginine/citrulline by themselves.It works best on me on an empty stomach (great for a fasting morning run/cycling) before breakfast.Great value. This is my first foray into nitric oxide and I have been very pleased with this addition to my workout regimen. I take this about 30-60 minutes prior to strength training, swimming, spin class or running, and definitely notice a boost in endurance and recovery. The supplement is high quality and actually tastes good too with a pleasant scent. There are a couple other high value herbs in here to that seem to have a synergistic effect with the NO.
