My daughter has a sensitivity problem so potty training has been very difficult to even get her motivated with. I specifically ordered the Dora the Explorer patterned one and they sent me some princess one. My daughter has no affiliation with any of those princesses and has no care whatsoever of them but she has extreme fondness over Dora the Explorer so trying to get her excited over some Bimbo's that she has no clue of really irritates me when I'm trying to get her in the process of potty training. She looks and wants nothing of it she won't sit on it or engage in it which is why I ordered the Dora the Explorer one because I knew that one would actually work with her. Received the Dora design I ordered and was wrapped in sealed plastic. Super happy with my purchase. We had a different design of potty seat with stickers on the handles. The stickers wore off and got gross with cleaning and it was impossible to clean where little hands would be touching the handles underneath because of grooves in the underneath of the handle. My daughter is having some hard time with potty training, especially number 2. The doctor recommended that she sits twice a day for ten minutes in a row in the potty, and we decided to buy this toilet seat.Well, two weeks using it and we are finally making progress!! She LOVES her Dora, super pink, flowery potty, so sitting on it is a delight. We were using the potty before, but I thought if we were going to train her for good, it was better to train her in the toilet. And it is very difficult without a toilet seat, because she is not stable.The handles are great, toddlers use them all the time. And the size is just right. Very sturdy and easy to clean (you can separate the cushion from the plastic, to clean separately). My toilet is not exactly the same shape (the potty seat is somewhat rounder), but it is sturdy enough so it is not a problem.We love it and I highly recommend it. I was very surprised to open the box and discover that it wasn't the pink "Dora Butterfly Buddies" seat we ordered (and shown here). It turned out to be a purple Dora potty seat. It has butterflies too, but Amazon sells a combo set with a step stool that we were planning to order in the near future (of the purple set). I didn't bother to raise a fuss; it's Dora after all and my girl will enjoy it all the same. I rated it "okay" as it wasn't exactly what we ordered, but the seat is exactly as we expected and will serve its purpose as a potty training tool. My granddaughter prefers using her Dora seat over her own all-in-one potty chair. It is bright and colorful and the cushion is soft enough for her and fits well on my toilet. The only reason I did not give this product a 5 star rating is because I feel the front end is a little too narrow and needs to be rounded a bit more. If she is not positioned absolutely exactly right her pee sometimes goes over the front of the seat instead of into the bowl. Read more

The details says that this potty seat will fit an elongated toilet seat. It will **not**. When my daughter tries to put it on the toilet it usually goes in the toilet. I help her and then she wants to sit on it by herself. As she sits it slides around (sometimes a side falls in). I help her but she wants to do it her self. its a huge mess and then of course its too late. My daughter was starting to show an interest in potty training, and while I have a training seat in the half bathroom on our main floor I needed something for the upstairs bathroom. This potty seat is easy to use, easy to wipe down (I use a clorox wipe after every use) and stores easily out of the way next to the sink.
