I bought this do to having a skin biopsy. A deep punch hole below my eye. A plastic surgeon would have cost a ton of money. I really wasn't happy that the biopsy would leave deep pitting according to my dr. BUT...with this product I can say 100 percent it was worth every penny after seeing the results. There is only a tiny mark and a bit of redness after 6 weeks! This stuff is incredible! I tried to take a good picture of the end results. I used this 2 weeks after my Thyroidectomy. I was very happy with the results as you can see in My pictures. Photos are from 1 week, 3 weeks and 6 weeks post procedure. I used the NewGel cream on days I had to work or was going out and used the Newgel strips when I was home. I started using it once the dermabond came off my incision. Even my Doctor made a comment that my incision was less red and less swollen than he normally sees in his patients. I will continue to use both products over the next few months. Love how this brand isn't sticky like most other silicone gel. It works really well, too. I see results fairly quickly with my very large double mastectomy ("top surgery" or "chest reconstruction") scars. It's the most expensive, but I can see why. It feels the best going on, doesn't stick to my clothes, and works really well. I like it better than the strips. Feels nicer than lotion, honestly. (But I hate lotion) Read more

I have had a lot of surgeries and I always start using Newgel as soon as my surgeons say that I can and it works beautifully. My latest surgery was on my face and at one week from the surgery my surgeon said I could start using Newgel so I did. I'm three weeks from that surgery now and as usual, I can see a difference in my scars. The silicone really works to reduce the appearance of scars. I also like the Newgel sheets for larger areas. My girlfriend got a bad burn from my motorcycle so wanted to buy her the best possible thing to avoid scarring, as it looked certain her leg was definitely going to scar and I felt horrible about it.. she really liked this stuff and its worked up to a point..I got it for her 7 days after burn treatment was done, and now its about a month and a half later..Originally it looked like it would be a nasty scar.. after use of this product, 1.5 months later, she is down to a small discolored mark on her leg.. the area is not raised or bumpy and no unsightly markings, just a small discoloration.. to me that is a HUGE success, so glad I got her this.. and its only been a little while.. hopefully even that little mark will go away but either way Very satisfied!
