I hate swallowing pills, so gummies are a life saver. These in particular are the best of the best, because they're relatively affordable AND they actually have 100% DV of pretty much everything per serving, unlike a lot of other brands. They taste good too, not tart at all and no weird "vitamin" flavor. I love the orange and strawberry. I prefer vegetarian supplements whenever possible. They tend to taste better, have no aftertaste, and rarely have any side effects. This multivitamin checked all those boxes for me.These vitamins look like fried marbles, and although they were delivered on a hot day, they did not feel sticky and did not stick to one another. They taste fresh and fruity without being sugary, and even with opening the bottle daily, they haven’t changed or gotten clumpy — this has been a common problem with other non-vegetarian/non-vegan vitamins I’ve used.When reading the label, you will note that this blend has several vitamins, but perhaps not as many as you are used to. These are really great! The New Nordic Multi Vegan Gummies have a nice firm texture and they taste terrific. I like them more than most other vegan gummies that I've tried. They do say four gummies per day for an adult, while another one that I like is only two. I would prefer if two gummies supplied the daily needs of an adult. They seem to provide a nice quantity of needed vitamins, but the vendor sticker is covering some of the information. Also, I appreciate the safety lid being so easy for me to open. I was so happy to find this brand after trying other vegan multivitamins and ending up with huge headaches from the B12 and other ingredients being 1000%-4000% over daily recommended values. For context, I have been vegan for 12 years and do not have to temporarily treat a B12 deficiency. I was looking for a multivitamin that I could take every day for a prolonged period of time instead, that included a vegan form of D2 or D3. Many vegan alternative foods are heavily supplemented in B12 already (alternative milks and alternative proteins) so it’s easier now to reach your daily recommended amount. If not, taking a supplement like this ensures 100% of your B vitamins are met. If you’ve ever taken high dosages of vitamins and noticed headaches after a few weeks, you will be familiar with this. It isn’t high enough to lead to toxicity and yes your body will flush it out but it still has unpleasant side effects. I have two bottles of Herbaland D3 & B12 that I had to stop using because the headaches were so bad after a while. I really don’t understand why more companies don’t aim for 100% as a guideline, especially if you are supposed to take it every day for a long period of time. But thankfully I found this product. If you are looking for higher dosages exceeding daily recommended amounts, there are many companies that offer this (including vegan formulas) but this is the first vegan product I have found that is within reason for me and my nutritional needs. Sorry to emphasize this so strongly but I want to counter other reviews suggesting they take a more traditional model of multivitamin with excessive daily amounts, which in my case lead to headaches and prevent me from getting proper intakes. Many highly supplemented vitamin products (eg. Ener-C) are not meant to be taken longer than a short term boost. And it is, at the very least, a waste of your body’s energy to have to flush out all the unnecessary amounts. I hope they’ll continue with 100% daily needs and greatly appreciate finding a company offering a vegan multivitamin that follows these guidelines. Read more
