During this period of confinement (Covid 19), it has been hard to keep the kids busy. I purchased the chalk hair combs, and painted my wife and my hair. I will let you imagine the surprise on my kids' face when they saw us. We ended up spending a good portion of the day "painting" our hair in different colors, and when we were done, everybody showered and we got our hair back. No issue with the next morning video calls - HAHA.We still have plenty for at least 2 more uses (there are 5 of us - 4 with long hair)This is a very safe and inexpensive way to have fun as a family. I got these to mess with my son. He's always coloring his hair, so on my last visit I thought I'd show up with some colorful hair myself! He loved it and we had a good laugh. Easy to apply and can put in little streaks or apply broadly for more color. As the package says, it shows better in blonde hair, but it still shows in brown hair, too. It can wash out easily.My 6 year old daughter LOVES these hair chalks comb so much! Value was spot on. But as far as using it like they show in the pictures like a brush didn’t work out for us. We had to take the color out of the wand and use it that way. Wetting the color pad a little helped get the color to hair faster then dry. Once color was on it looked great. Read more

The colors are GREAT! I got it for my daughter as a surprise since she's been interested in coloring her hair. She was very excited to open the box and try it on. Since she has dark hair so she needs to repeatedly applicate.The combs are mini, she could hold it easily and applied it with her small hands. There isn't a lot of colorant on each comb and I guess the colorant may last two or three applications for the full hair coverage.  Recently, my daughter would use it to highlight her hair and my hair when we hang out.  We have fun with this product together .Highly recommend to use it as girls' gift on the upcoming Christmas. I got these for my kid and honestly they're just meh.. I am a licensed stylist so I have tons of experience with funky colors but I have yet to figure out the best way to apply this. Because it's a waxy consistency the hair is always left feelings sticky and kind of gross. I, sadly, don't recommend these, I thought it would be a good compromise for my daughter wanting pink and purple in her hair but I will continue my search because this is not a good solution. I think if your child has white/blondish hair it might work alittle better but it will certainly still leave it waxy feeling. Read more

Finally!!! A set of these that work! Look at my unicorn 🦄 hair! I’ve bought so many of these and they’ve never worked before, I took every single tip and these worked right from the comb onto my hair. It suggests wetting your hair and it’s probably a good idea, but I was just playing with them and it worked even dry 😁 I did use some hairspray after to keep it in place but it stayed on until the next day when I had to wash it off (it did get on my pillowcase but it washed off my pillow with a normal wash). My daughter had crazy hair day at school and I tried to comb the colour through and as she has brown hair - it didn't show up! She was in tears so resorted to breaking the comb and pulling the cube of colour out and using my hands, I coloured the top of her head with it - the rest of her hair, that was pointless.
