I bought this for the apparent acne scars on my face. One day after using this cream and what looks to be chemical burns began to develop on certain parts of my face (see the attached photo). I don’t really have sensitive skin, but I do have oily acne prone skin. Anyway, yea I wouldn’t recommend this and I will be asking for a refund. Read more

I have been using this cream nightly for a little over 1 month now, and I have not seen one bit of improvement in my skin. I am in my 30s and have severe acne scarring on my face from when I was younger and I have tried SO MANY products for scarring. All have been a let down including this cream. I don't know if I am supposed to be using for months before I see any improvement, but I thought I would at least see some fading after 1 month. This cream feel like a light weight lotion, & has little smell, & does not stain your clothing or bed sheets at night, all of which I greatly appreciate, but I am disappointed in Neutrogena. I wish I could say my sudden bout with chin acne is due to wearing a mask but it's my dang hormones. I've been buying products up left and right, desperate to get rid of these pimples, but nothing has made a difference. I tossed this in my cart on a whim and it knocked my pimples out in 2 days! I was very excited about this product but found out I had an allergy for benzoyl peroxide. So not only this product’s fault. This cream itself is good, not thick it’s very light and dry quickly but It gave me itchiness, eczema and redness on my forehead and cheek a few days later. I got the symptoms and the eczema and redness is getting wider and wider every day. Of course still itchy. This active ingredient works for some people but not for people who have allergy like me. It works great on acne--the best formula I've tried, and I have sensitive skin that limits what I can use (no Aveeno, no Olay). I will buy again, because it works great, but it doesn't matter how many hours before bed I apply it--if I don't wash my face before sleeping, if I drool in my sleep, I will wake up to bleach marks on the pillowcase. I have used this product at night in place of my moisturizer so when I wake up I can wash it off my face and use a moisturizer this product has been working great but it does dry out your face and leave residue so I recommend using it at night instead of in the morning if you have naturally dry skin I don’t recommend using this product to avoid peeling Read more
