I've been using this product for a couple years now and I absolutely love it. I used to have chronic dry lips that tend to crack and bleed every so often and this thing prevents it from happening. I use it practically every night. I've gone nights (or days) without it and it just doesn't feel right anymore if I don't apply any. It's a part of my nightly routine now and my lips have never felt better. Just having it on overnight allows my lips to feel a million times better throughout the day. One container lasts me a little under a year so with that being said, two for this price is amazing. I didn't use up the last of my other container before the expiration so I had to buy more. This time, I'll be giving one to my grandma since she complained to me about her lips being dry and painful so we'll see how it works for her. Hopefully she'll like it as well and the second container will be put to good use instead of going to waste a few months in since I can't use them both up before the expiration.You can apply it lightly during the day as well, but I feel the benefit definitely comes in at full advantage with it sitting overnight. I have large lips. When they are dry from weather or a long weekend of drinking and I’m dehydrated like a lost soul in the Sahara desert, this stuff brings me LIFE! I wouldn’t suggest wearing in the day if you’re leaving the house bc it leaves a Cinnabon icing look on your lips. It tastes like nothing. Over night though, it works miracles! I almost didn't buy this product because I read a review that said it was just petroleum jelly and not to bother buying it. And it does have that in it but it's definitely more effective than pet jelly.I'd had a crack on the left side of my lip, right at the "hinge" of the lip for almost a month and was getting concerned. It hurt to open my mouth even to sip on a spoon of soup. It hurt to laugh, it hurt to sing. Forget about eating a sandwich or a burger. I even asked my dentist about it during a visit and they told me to put regular Neosporin on it. I thought was a strange suggestion, since it shouldn't be ingested, but I was so desperate I almost did it!Then it occurred to me to look up Neosporin for lips and found this product.Mind you, I had been putting pet jelly on my lips constantly, overnight and a few times a day with no healing. I bought this product and put it on the crack. The first morning after I'd put it on, I could tell it was scabbing but it still hurt.By the third morning of applying it overnight, it was all better! This healing balm is amazing! Lips are dry, one night and they are 75% better. Small patches of dry skin? Put some of this on for a few days and it’s gone. I love this and have been using it for years! I initially got it because every year at the start of the cold dry weather, my lips are so dry and crack. This clears it up so quickly. My son has extremely dry skin and breaks out with patches of eczema. I’ve tried aquaphor, kid approved special eczema lotions and body wash, medicated lotions…. Nothing really worked. I decided to try this and it helped! If you start using this as soon as the patches of eczema begin, they will go away. With this, a little goes a long way. This chapstick is my new favorite! It’s almost like a straight moisturizer cream which threw me off, but it does wonders on my lips and keeps them from getting chapped.
