I can't believe these have such good reviews. they are AWFUL.first off, they are not that semi shiny lycra type material that these things usually are made of. they are like cheap yoga pants or something. they are extremely thin, almost tissue like... you can see right through them. they only stretch in 1 direction, making them unusable in many situations.they are far too form fitting... with no space at all... so it constantly feels like your face is being squeezed, they do not drape...at all. when you speak with these on... they WILL go in your mouth.I'm really disappointed in these and wish I hadn't got them. they get 1 star since they will perform the function if being a "face covering"...but, do yourself a favor and get proper Lycra type ones... not these cheap ass knock offs. I can't imagine these will do jack squat for what people are getting them for. I can only imagine all the good reviews come from people who would rather not wear a mask at all for all the good they will do.they are very very thin, tight, and uncomfortable. you would be better off just cutting the sleeves off an old shirt and sticking that over your head. They work great for keeping me cool (for awhile) when I'm outside in the Arizona heat, as well as for keeping the sun off my skin. Alas, being Arizona and super dry, even if you have these things dripping wet, they will become bone-dry within 10 minutes of riding on a bicycle in 100-degree heat. Only solution is to carry an extra bottle of water to pour on them to re-soak and put 'em back on once they dry out.Also, when they're dry, the material feels kind of scratchy on my skin, especially on my face. Like, VERY scratchy, almost like wool or something, even after I've run them through the laundry with fabric softener. Using it as a balaclava, it feels almost like I've got a sheet of fiberglass wrapped around my head - super scratchy on my lips. Additionally, it's kinda hard to breathe through if you're doing anything physically intense, so it doesn't work so great for covering your mouth if you're trying to keep the sun off your lower face.They are pretty handy, though. Works best for me as a neck gaiter and as a head wrap, so the only part I need sunscreen on is my face. Considering how many you get and how cheap they are, they're a pretty awesome deal, overall. The product is a long stretchy sleeve and it stays in place with head movement - unlike a scarf or bandana that needs adjusting (don't want to keeping touching my face). My head circumference from the meaty part on a downward slope to my nose (tiny bridge) is 19.5 inches. I put it on my neck, pull up the back of my head first and then over my ears and hook my nose. The material is thin but can double fold if necessary. I wore it at the grocery store and to my office - where my doctors return from the ICU with + COVID patients BTW - but change to the medical masks when I know they will be returning to the office. I love that these come in a 6 pack for so cheap! They feel just as good and breathable as any other buffs that I have. They come individually wrapped and the plastic wrapping shows ideas of how you can use them (picture added of both). I like using them as head cover when I don't want to wear a hat because it is too hot. They also keep you warmer when it is cool out. I am already looking at getting more styles! As advertise there appears to be some stylish and comfy looking slack in these face socks or whatever you call it.Look at the customer pictures and its fit like pantyhose over the mouth stretched tight.That is what you need to expect, they were arm sized like it appears built to go on my arm not my head. Yes it stretches over. Just be aware. I got these to aid in preventing mask beard deformation, only to find these are skin right pantyhose, functional and would be nice in hotter weather, but just be aware. Its typical amazon goods, cheaply made, somewhat falsely advertised, and always slightly dissapointing.The prints i found interesting through and were as advertised so extra star for that. Read more

I plan to use these for fishing but I wanted to get them to use instead of a mask. They fir around my neck pretty well but when you put them on your face, it doesn't feel like it's on there tight and wants to slide down. I guess I have a really big head for an average guy but my face isn't as big as my face. It's also really thin so it really doesn't replace a mask. I can still feel a little bit of air when I put my hands out in front of my face while breathing.
