My daughter is taking these as part of a nutritional program that goes along with her educational program this school year. She has autism/fasd/delays and we are trying to improve brain processing. These do seem to help! Read more
It is hard to find a children's fish oil with evening primrose oil, especially at a good price. These gelcaps are small, but my daughter can't swallow pills so she chews them and spits out the casing. They are not flavored, which would be nice, but they are mild and not fishy. (I have tried chewing one myself, and the taste is pretty plain) but I give her a flavored vitamin to chew right afterwards. The only negative is it has 3mg cholesterol per 2 capsules, and she needs 4 capsules/day to get 50mg GLA from evening primrose oil. I have heard that evening primrose oil capsules are tasty even unflavored, so I'll probably start buying them separate and giving her a flavored fish oil to chew. Read more
This has helped my 10 year old son with ADHD almost as well as medication, but without the bad side-effects.I saw immediate results after I began to give him this supplement, but forgot how much it was helping until we ran out and did not reorder. I read a government study of how the fish oil with evening primrose oil really helped boys with ADHD. I have been unable to find this combination in a childrens dose any other place. I've noticed quite a significant improvement in my son's energy and mood since he started taking these. I ran out for about a month and his grumpiness and sluggish symptoms started to return.The pills are a good size for him to swallow. Much small than the fish oils pills we tried before this. I've been buying these for years for my kids after they were recommended by a child psychologist. I always notice a difference in their ability to focus and work hard on their school work when they have and haven't had their EFA pills. They really are a big help to my kids. Read more
The only smaller sized EFA pills we can find so we have to buy these overpriced capsules.To use 2 capsules 3 times a day makes it even more overly expensive. :( Read more
