i've experienced recurring utis the past couple years. by recurring, i mean sometimes every other month, monthly, twice a month....needless to say, it was incredibly frustrating...and painful. and i felt i was doing everything right hygiene-wise. problems of having a short urethra (sorry, not sorry for the TMI). it was also frustrating having to go to the doctor's office every time for antibiotics, much less taking that many antibiotics in such a short period of time. drinking cranberry juice daily for prevention was also difficult and expensive to maintain.so the CranRx gummies have been a lifesaver for me. since i started taking these a few months ago, i've noticed a huge difference in my urinary health (and my sanity!). so far, i haven't experienced any uti symptoms, so fingers crossed that these will keep doing the trick. so much better than drinking cranberry juice daily. i take these daily and actually quite like the taste, but that seems open to debate per other reviews here.i'll still give it 5 stars, but my only complaint is that it's quite expensive compared to the azo gummies, and only comes in a 60 count bottle, which is enough to last one month. please offer it in a bigger size...and at a discount if possible! the azo gummies are also targeted for uti prevention, but doesn't taste as great in my opinion. I've always suffered a UTI once or twice a year, no matter how dedicated I was to hygiene, always wiping front to back, peeing before and after sex, only drinking water, the whole nine yards. I've gotten to know "AZO" as a close friend... I even have bottles of uncut cranberry juice in my fridge. Do ya'll know what that tastes like? It's nasty. So I get about 2 UTI's a year which have recently been caused by klebsiella pneumonia. Most recently, my urine culture came back positive for 10k colony forming units which is basically the beginnings of a UTI but not considered clinically significant enough to warrant an antibiotic although my typical UTI symptoms were present. So since my doctor refused to prescribe anything, I decided to try to tackle this on my own using these cranberry + d-mannose gummies. I started taking 8 gummies a day (4 in the morning and 4 at night) for 5 days and requested another culture and when those results came back, they were negative and indicated 'no growth.' No signs of my recurring UTI since taking these gummies. They're pectin based and thicker/denser than snack gummies (think welches), but I still love them. The taste takes a little getting used to, but I'd have these over 100% cranberry juice any day. They're not super sweet, nor are they super tart. They're higher up the list of vitamin type gummies I've tried. I don't like that the bottles range between $13-$16 for 60 pieces/1 month pack (2 gummies per day), so I bought the AZO Cranberry Gummies instead because they're cheaper. Boy, was that a mistake. August 7, 2021:My son suffers from chronic UTI’s die to a botched circumcision as an infant that will be corrected when he’s older (as per our health insurance). Anyway, he loves the taste of these.
