This herb has significantly reduced my hair loss after taking it with meals 3 times a day. Saw palmetto may block 5-alpha-reductase, an enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT (in both men and women). By inhibiting the action of this enzyme, Saw Palmetto may lessen hair loss and stimulate hair growth. Many other products that I tried were all hype and didn't work.Although I am still losing some hair, I don't have hair all of my bathroom any longer.
