They are a sweet treat that is healthier than cookies, cake, etc., made from figs with other flavorings like blueberry and raspberry and whole wheat outer layer. Serving size is a generous two bars, so you do not feel cheated.I recommend them to anyone who is trying to get away from cookies, cake, ice cream, candy, but still wants a little something with their tea or coffee! I like to take these for days where I know I can't grab a breakfast or a lunch. They're nothing to write home about, and won't feed you for a week, but they get the job done.
