It's a bit high, but sure, can't go wrong following manufacturer's instruction. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a super cute teether and a very cute design concept, but my baby didn’t love it. It was hard for her to hold and teeth on, keep in mind she loves all teethers and has no difficulty using any of them, except this one. She becomes frustrated with it. Our daughter loves playing with this and it’s a great teether with a cute design. Only complaint is it is a lot smaller, denser/ heavier than expected and can easily bounce back and hit baby in the face when they throw it around, which ours does often. Bought this during the lightening sale. I regret it. It looks cool but only has two textures for baby. More importantly, it has a chemical smell that puts of baby- it's a petroleum and dye smell. Not pleasing. I thought she'd love it. She likes holding it and looking at it but once near the nose she puts it down. So I investigated, it is the smell. No off putting taste. I thought 20 minutes of boiling was a lot so I started at 2. Still the smell. Did another boil at 10. Still the smell. Finally 20. Still it smells but now it's peeling like others stated. We bought these for our girls. I find them to be not safe. We bought three and had one replaced as soon as opening due to the strap breaking. We’ve come into this again this time my 9 month old using it and it broke off. One snapped in half one completely off the strap. The strap itself is solid but the pieces that attach it to the teether and the snap is flimsy and cheap. Now we need to find new ones to attach to there teething ice cream.
