I tried to return this, but item is ineligible for return. Magnesium stearate is a synthetic chemical not found in nature used as a flow agent to make manufacturing cheaper. It inhibits the absorption of the nutrient. Research it. Stop buying all vitamins with this ingredient and demand quality in your supplements. There are many healthier alternatives that quality supplement manufacturers use. Rice alternatives such as nu-flow etc are much better. Shame on you NatureMade and all the supplement industry for using this just to save yourself some money and increase your profits knowing it reduces our ability to absorb the products we take. There's just no better vitamin/supplement maker out there than Nature Made. The Zinc they provide holds the dose at 30mg instead of the more common 50mg. This is a good thing, as going over 40 daily might be harmful to you in the long run. I have taken these daily and I've not gotten sick once. I just received a new order of them. It has been said for decades that vitamin C was the key to fighting colds. You can only take so much C before your body has enough and eliminates it. I have read that the body doesn't need more than 40mg. a day to process,but my doctor said 50mg. is find for daily taking to help system since Covid is here, so I just got them to switch up once or twice a week. He just said make sure if you can get Zinc. Get it!!! My husband and I have taken them everyday since 3/18/2020 and will continue. Also Vitamin D, Elderberry, B complex . When I say this stuff cleaned my acne completely!! WOW. My mom complimented my skin, for the first time in my life.Only down side is I think I have gotten use to it, and now must go to dosage 50mg because acne cane back🤷🏻‍♀️ But it does definitely clear your skin> forever IDK about that. I really wanted to like this product. I have Hidradenitis Suppurativa (or acne inversa) and I was told zinc would help with my inflammation and healing the internal tracts my incurable acne creates. Unfortunately every time I take this product (with food) I end up with terrible stomach cramps, so I haven't been able to experiences whatever benefits it might bring. Zinc is economical however it dissolves quickly and is dry when swallowed. I never have issues with swallowing pills but this pill is not coated and frequently lodged in esophagus. Stopped using for this reason. Read more
