I normally get the burp-less variety of fish oil, but these ones don't upset my stomach at all, even on an empty tummy.Like all fish oil they're some big honkers, so I make sure I'm taking them with a lot of water, but all in all they're good. I actually buy these for my dogs skin and hair coat. They LOVE them! Anytime I get the bottle down they get very excited and will just take the capsules from my hand. I can also just toss them into their food bowls and they will eat them without issue. Their coats are very shiny and their skin is not dry or flaky. These are a great value for me to buy for my dogs because a bottle will last at least two months, sometimes three, depending on the time of year. These pills are big. I personally had no issues swallowing them. That being said, im 6'2" 248lbs. My sister commented on the size of them and said "I would choke trying to get that down". So, use some discernment on whether you can actually get these down or not. If you struggle with pills it may be a better option to find a different pill that you can cut in half. Otherwise if you're like me, I would highly recommend these! I love that I was able to buy these in bulk. Just FYI, do not smell inside the container. I did some research, the dosage in these is really all you need in a day to day healthy life. More is nice but not necessary. They are a little big which I knew buying it though so I can't complain. It did and does have a little bit of a funky smell to them, when I open the bottle and the smell does stain my hand a little for a few minutes after. But I don't believe that negatively affects anything. I haven't noticed anything with my body changing from these yet honestly but I love the value of how many you get for the price. Target had these but only have the amount for the same price. I love saving money buying bulk when I can. Would and will buy again when I run out. I like this is a two-capsule per day size of capsules, and the price is good compared to buying it off the shelf at local grocery and drug stores. Based on my medical lab results and own semi-careful diet, it seems to be doing what it is supposed to do from a health standpoint. I like to take all my supplements in one swallow, having three to add. I have been taking fish oil for about 5 years now and have pretty much exclusively used this brand. While I don't have bad knees or a bad back per se, I am obese and in my late 30's and the toll of being a little fatty for the past 10 years has put a bit of wear on my body. Sometimes when I am running low or forget to take it with my baby aspirin and Benadryl at night, I will start to feel my one knee I bungled up back when I was 13 be a little achy, whereas normally, I do not notice the knee under normal operating procedure. Same thing with my back, if I haven't taken the fish oil for a few days, I won't be in pain or anything, but the old back is a bit more rickety by the end of the day. So it definitely helps reduce inflammation in my body, and that's the main reason I keep taking the stuff, is that I do notice it helps me out. I got my mother to start taking it a few years ago and she legitimately has a bad knee she said when she was taking the stuff every day it really made a difference for her too.Now on to the fish burps. Yeah, you'll get them under certain circumstances, but there is a way around it, other than paying extra for non-fish-burp capsules. I have found that if I take the fish oil at night right before I lie down for bed, I do not get the dreaded fish burps, even if I am awake and reading for a few hours after I take it. Just, you gotta be lying down. If you take the capsules in the morning, and go about your normal day, you will gross yourself out with the fish burps, no doubt.So overall, I love this stuff.
