I bought these Natural Factors 500 mg. Vitamin C tablets to take with my slow-release iron. I'm anemic, and Vitamin C facilitates and increases the body's absorption of iron. My doctor told me to take 500 mg a day with the iron tablet. 500 mg is 833% of the US RDA for Vitamin C.The tablets are a large, white disc. You can see the size in the attached pictures; the tablets are in the palm of my hand for size reference. They taste good, and are a little like a slightly sour, tangy candy. The bottle contains 180 tablets, so that's enough for 6 months at one a day. The country of origin is CANADA, not CHINA. What I really like about these tablets are that they contain NONE of the following:NO artificial colors, preservatives, or sweetenersNO dairy, wheat, gluten, yeast, or soyNO eggs, fish, shellfish, animal products, or tree nutsNO GMOs!They are suitable for vegetarians/vegans. The expiration date on the bottle I received is Feb 2019, so they will last a long time and are nowhere near the expiration date.I'm very happy with this purchase and will definitely buy these again! Had been looking long and hard for a chewable 500 mg C and finally ran across this one, which I intend to re-order. I was surprised to read another review saying they were "bitter" because that's definitely not the word. "Tart" is the correct one, just like when you run across a tart fruit or berry. Since I don't use artificial sweeteners, or even like the taste of things too sweet, this is the perfect chewable C for me (as a matter of fact, I ended up returning the Kirkland brand for the very reason that the sweetness almost made me gag (and if you check those ingredients you'll see the load of mixed artificial sweeteners). Since absorption begins in the mouth, it's always best to take chewable supplements whenever you can, so I strongly recommend this one. Read more

These wafers are tasty and are a cost effective way to get Vitamin C for the whole family. These wafers are sweet and have a nice tang without being overwhelmingly sour and I like to melt it similar to eating a hard candy versus chewing it up like my kids. Read more

This stuff tastes G R E A T! I keep some in a pill container w me at all times. Pop one, between meals. Soon I will leave on a plane trip, take them w me and keep popping them till I get where I am going!! The germs that are recycled in an airplane cabin are too numerous to count!! So I up my Vit C intake the week b4 leaving, from 3 grams/day to 8-10 grams a few days be 4 I leave, and then during the trip. WASH your hands with soap & water...forget the toxic hand sanitizer! I have had great experience with this company, but this was the first purchase of this product, I like Vitamin C but most are Orange (too acidic) and Cherry (i have an allergy to this) they also do not have lots of filler and suspect ingredients. Happy with my purchase!! Read more
