Years ago, I took a test to check for vitamin deficiencies, and it was recommended that I take phosphatidylserine. At the time, I was suffering from anxiety. After taking these, I did notice a slightly better ability to focus at work. More like clear headed. Anyway, once the anxiety issues subsided, I stopped taking them and forgot about them altogether.Fast forward a few years later, I was going through a period of heavy fatigue, where it was hard to do normal things. I found a few of these, and decided to take one just for the heck of it. Within about 20 minutes, I had energy. I was able to do chores around the house. I know for some, phosphatidylserine helps them sleep. I seem to be the opposite, so I take it in the mornings.I'm always looking for ways to achieve optimal health, so I'll check out an herb or supplement here and there. Many are forgettable, but this is one I have come back to more than once. When I try new supplements, I always start with low doses to see how my body will react. It had been suggested I take more than 100 mg's, but I found 100 mg's to be effective, luckily, since they are pricey. The problem with supplement reviews, though, is that people are different. Different blood types, hormones, different dna, different diets, body weight, etc etc etc., so not everyone will react the same or get the same benefits. I had seen some people who took phosphatidylserine say that it did absolutely nothing, and say anyone who benefitted must have had the placebo effect. The body produces it. I don't think it's a placebo effect if someone's deficient, and they replenish what they're missing. If it doesn't work, your body probably has enough, and you don't need it. But if you are deficient, this could make a huge difference in your quality of life.Final note: If you dislike taking pills, you can bite a hole into the softgel, and squeeze out the contents. It doesn't taste horrible, but it doesn't taste good either. Read more

I was dealing with a lot of "brain fog" so decided to try this based on good reviews. It took about two weeks to notice a difference, but when it started working, I was impressed. I was more focused, could stay on task, even my reflexes improved. I have been taking it twice a day for about a year. Everyone is different but this product has definitely helped me. Read more

This stuff is wonderful and I've found this brand works best for me. I suffer from insomnia and cortisol spikes around 3 to 4 am which leads to all kind of energy problems throughout the day. So, I use this to even out my cortisol and reduce stress for better sleep. I start by taking one around 5 pm, and then continue with one at 7 pm, 8 pm, and then one more right before bed (4 total). I also take a few other supplements to help sleep along with prazosin, which has done wonders for sleep quality. I take all of those under doctor supervision, along with PS-100 and I haven't slept this well in years. I finally have energy during the day and don't fall asleep at my desk. This is a magical cure-all supplement, I take supplements in conjunction with lifestyle and diet modifications to support my unique body. A big part in getting your health on track is sleep, but if your body is really out of whack, it's okay to supplement until you can regulate everything and are able to sleep on your own. This helps for sure, but don't expect miracles if you aren't doing some work on your end too. Read more

One pill a day Monday through Thursday in the morning works well for memory support but especially for critical thinking and focus. Totally skeptical at first, but after about a week it really helps. I stop taking it on the weekends to try to prevent building up tolerances. Easy to tell after a few days to a week goin off it what the difference is. Read more

I am hyper sensitive to all supplements and will give you some detailed points from my experienceTook it for calming down and sleep, but got the following side effects1. It caused nausea and heart burn. Also confirmed by a few other reviews of this amino acid by another brand.2. Serine converts to tryptophan and glycine, which in excess can cause the anxiety and elevated heart rate, which is what I experienced. I think those like me with liver deficiency will react adversely to excess glycine.3. I am sensitive to sunflower oil so it caused constipation and bowl inflammation. This is confirmed by a few Reddit reports by users.4. The calming effect is more of a "zoned out" feeling, not so much pleasant peaceful calm. And it was overshadowed by the elevated heart rate and anxiety side effectsConfirm if you get the same side effects by posting your reviewUpdate: The best result I've had so far is Ornithine & Agmatine for anxiety, calm & sleep. Recommend you try those. Start off with a fraction of the recommended dose. I use 1/4 of a capsule. Relaxes muscles and helps with pain and circulation. But don't take too much because they can lower blood pressure (unless you have high BP) Read more

I have ADHD and this stuff is literally a lifesaver when it comes to my university courses. It helps me stay focused on the task at hand. I just have to be careful on what I'm focusing on when it kicks in because that's where I'll be for the next three hours before it wears off. No taste, easy to swallow even without water. I do not experience any side effects besides good grades. I also take L-Theanine because it helps to calm my hyperactive brain down and give me emotional stability. Read more

These are described as "softgel" but are more like marbles. I take a lot of vitamins of all sorts of shapes and sizes (some very much bigger than these), but only these stick in my throat and nearly choke me 3 times each day. Will use up the bottle and hope to survive, then find an alternate brand. Read more
