I’ve been on quercetin for a long time for bad allergies - the kind that requires MULTIPLE antihistamines. (Mast Cell Activation Disorder - basically your body releases too much histamine to too many stimulus). This quercetin is WAY more potent and WAY more effective than regular quercetin. Love this product. I have been taking it for seasonal allergies for a couple months and it has worked wonders without having to take any OTC allergy meds. We moved to paradise almost five years ago, but my health just steadily declined. I had carefully reviewed the actual research on this form of Quercitin. Its probably a solid10-20 times more bioavailable than standard extracts plus it frees up more of the other beneficial available isolates in Quercitin. There is actually a surprisingly large body of research on it. So each pill has a net of 50mg which equates to at least 500 maybe 1000mg. The research is totally positive on this form.I bought this because I seemed to have digestion problems on standard Quercitin and I hoped that this might help. So far so good though its only been a couple of days. So while this might be a bit pricey it appears to be well worth it. Quercitin has so many amazing properties that they don't even put on the label10 days later....I'm seeing clear blood pressure effects. I take my pressure every day. This type of quercetin is at the top of my list for my Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. You can buy bulk quercetin, and quercetin with Vitamin C, but none of them are very well absorbed, so you waste your money. There are several ways to make quercetin more bio-available. Natural Factors makes a lipo-matrix version that works, but it contains peppermint oil which just kills my stomach. Thorne makes one called phytosomal which works but it's so expensive you can't afford it. This one works, too, and is cheaper. I've been able to find it on sale sometimes, and I buy up all they have, but I also have this Amazon product on subscription. I take three with each meal and three at bedtime. So this bottle lasts me 5 days. Yes, I know, that's a lot. Once I tried to cut it down to two, and within a couple of hours I was in substantial pain. There are places online that describe how to make your own liposomal preparations of quercetin, Vitamin C, glutathione, etc. but I take so many different supplements that it's all I would be doing all day if I tried.
