My Dad was in a car accident, due to his injuries his left knee & Tibia are full steel & his ankle is steel hinges no bone. As such he has developed arthritis in those areas. I was so excited when reading the advertisement of claimes of all the types of arthritis ect.. It helps thinking it could help him as he is in extreme pain. He applied it using very little (was not caked on) within a few minutes his skin started turning red! So much so that it burned it (acording to his Doctor the ingredients of this product gave him more than an irritation it burned it. Now he's in more pain & on burn cream (prescribed) to heal it!! I don't get a strong menthol scent. I have severe arthritis on my finger. I did try this cream on that first to see if it relieved the pain at all. The initial pain that I had is gone. Took it away from the time I started writing this review until now. So, not that long.Does my knuckle still hurt? Yes, if I bend it too much. But that throbbing pain is gone.Now I will put some onto my lower back that has been screaming with pain this morning.I can't say I feel a lot of heat. I do feel some but nothing intense or strong. Now I will wait about 5 mins and return to finish....Ok, as I sit there the sharp pain in my lower back is gone. The deep ache is still there that I feel when I bend over. I'll put more on tonight before I go to bed and then again tomorrow morning to see if more time is needed for it to work on the deeper arthritic pain. But, it actually is working some.Washed my hands and no scent left on my hands at all. Reapplied a small amount to my finger knuckle.I can't really say anything bad about this cream. I have Arthritis and Sciatica. I use a lot of pain creams. I tried Aspircream the other day and was very disappointed. I don't know if they changed the formula or what but it did nothing.When I got home last night I was hurting bad. This was the first thing I opened and immediately put it on.Wow! I felt it start in about 5 minutes and it was working in less than 15. About an hour later I was outside working and realized I was pain free. I don't know what the shelf life is but I think I will burn through long before that is an issue.The price seemed a bit high but if you compare it to the other it is actually a great price.Update May 3rd, 2022: I fell off a ladder and bruised my ribs pretty bad. I was up in the middle of the night since I could not sleep from the pain. I thought...Hmm. I know that isn't what this is intended for but it's worth a shot. Heck yes! It works great.
