I had tendonitis of my extensor tendons on my right foot. These are the tendons that run along and beside the bones of the instep (depicted in picture). The cold wrap was perfect in its ability to apply both cold from the gel pack as well as compression laterally across the foot at an angle resting on the extensors. The combination of cold as well as pulling the strap tight with the velcro to get compression aided in my recovery. Of course, rather than applying it directly to my foot, I wore a sock to that the cold wouldn't burn my skin.If you are applying ice using this, make sure to buy more than one because due to the small size, the ice pack only stays cold for about 10 minutes. So the solution was to have one in the freezer while using the other for a single round of 15 minutes of ice. Even after the gel pack was no longer cold, the compression still worked The pack remaining cold for 10 minutes is not a flaw, it is physics (thermodynamics, warm foot against small gel pack). Not sure why but I could not get the gel pack to freeze even after overnight in freezer, but it did get super cold.It is a quality product that works as advertised. Read more

These are a must for anyone with Plantars. This is my first experience with plantars. I was using a frozen water bottle but these are so much better. They last about 30-40 minutes and stick firmly to the wrap with the velcro strips. You can wrap your foot or wrist firmly so that it stays in place. I think these would be great for other injuries as well but have only used for the foot at this point. Since I have only one foot affected, I can rotate them and place one back in the freezer while I use the other. Very pleased with this product. Read more

As someone with arthritis on the top of my feet, it is usually pretty awkward applying ice packs there. These gel packs envelope the area perfectly. I have only used these a few times thus far, but unlike other reviews I've seen, I haven't had a problem with the gel pack being truly cold. I leave it in the freezer overnight, apply it in the evenings, and I am getting about 20 minutes of good cold therapy out of that.My only criticism at this point is that I'm pretty certain the velcro strap will wear out relatively quickly. These are easy to use. I use them for the swelling in my feet. The podiatrist said to ice the tops of my feet around the ankle. I have been able to do just that with ease using this product. I can ice the tops or the bottoms of my feet/ankles while I kick back in the recliner. There is no drippy mess and you don't have to hold it because of the velcro. The coldness outlasts me every time. When finished I put them in a gallon-sized ziplock bag and store them in the freezer. Following my doctor's instructions, I ice my feet at night and I have been waking up with happier feet. I love this product and highly recommend it if you need to ice your feet and I'd say it could work for wrists as well. Read more

I probably bought this for a very different reason than others. I bought 2 of these and joined them together with the Velcro that is already on them to make a bigger one that fits around my little Frenchies tummy. They get hot and can overheat so I Velcro this around her to cool her off. The material is nice , heavy, and soft and the way the Velcro is put on it doesn’t touch your s in and scratch you. The ice pack itself is a heavy leakproof material. It doesn’t stY cool for very long because they are so small but it is perfect for what I bought them for. Read more

I needed a way to apply both heat and cold to my wrist for sever pain from inflamed tendons and this product works perfectly... I keep one in the fridge and the other is always ready to pop in the microwave so my hot / cold options are always available. They fit the wrist perfectly and stay in place so you get relief quickly. There's 2 in a package so for the money it's a bargain and they are very well made. When you need to you just take the hot/cold packs off them and toss them in the washer for cleaning. I'm glad I bought these since it's the only way to get relief from inflamed tendons. You can take meds all day to mask the pain but these are what you need to make the pain stop. Read more

These wraps work well for plantar fasciitis pain! I love that they take up little space in the freezer and are easy to velcro on. I'm a woman so they fit my feet really well, but my husband's feet don't work well with this small size. He would have to have a larger size. I use them inside a plantar fasciitis boot when I'm resting in a chair. They are surprisingly effective for such small things! I'm glad I found them! Read more

I broke a couple of the metatarsal (sp?) bones in my foot recently and the different odds and ends of ice packs I had in the freezer from previous incidents just didn't do the trick, as I had a lot of swelling. I saw these and ordered them right away - they arrived quickly and I tossed them in the freezer as soon as I could get them open. They work better than anything I had! I make a 'loop' by attaching the Velcro ends, and I slip it over my toes, bring the ice pack part right up over the top of my broken foot and it's just what I needed! I suffer with Plantar Fascitis, i'm always in excruciating pain with it to the point I can hardly walk on it, so I brought these to see if the ice cold would help ease it at all & i'm pleased to say that so far it is working, it doesn't take the pain away completely but it's a hell of alot better! Bought it to use instead of ice on the top of my foot where I have extensor tendinitis. Put it in the freezer for 2 hours as stated & it was barley cool, let alone cold. Found it awkward to keep on my foot & after about 10 minutes, I got a searing pain in my foot so took it off. Tried it again the following day, left it in the freezer for just over 3 hours & it was a it colder but still not very cold. Did nothing to ease the pain in my foot on either occasion. I wouldn’t know as one was leaking when I received it! Natracure UK have promised me a replacement, didn’t want a refund as one is useable (in an email 9/4) . This product is very cold when frozen and stays cold for 20+ minutes. It moulds great to the foot and ankle- to target the pain exactly where you need it. It stays in place and the wrap gives good compression.Highly recommend. Read more
