I really like this company, and have sworn by their Nose Frida, so thought I'd try out their nail clippers. These are the least functional, seriously most useless clippers I have ever seen in my life. I cannot even clip anything with them (off my own nails let along my toddler's) because the blade is both concave overall with a weird leaning angle to the metal tips so the stupid things don't even cut flush against themselves. Unless I got some that would not pass inspection, I swear my toddler could have designed something better. I'm beyond disappointed at how useless these are. Unfortunately we took them out of the packaging and so I don't think we can return them.Buy literally anything else that looks like normal nail clippers and you will be better off. Read more

Super disappointed. Had the old version I suppose, no little viewing window, but set up so that the left side of the cutting surfaces are open and the right side closed, making it simple for right handed use as you can see as you slide the clippers onto the nail. This new design has a little opening to see through supposedly, but the open side of the clippers is on the RIGHT side, meaning the side facing my hand as I hold them, meaning I cannot see what I'm doing and end up having to hold the upside down, which results in them not clipping the nails short enough, and making the viewing window useless since its now on the back side, but it's the best solution I've found.I'm really dissapointed as the old design was spectacular. They are held like a clipper but function like a scissor, so it's not bending and flattening out the nail bed like a clipper does and it gentler on little fingers. Also easy to get a nice smooth cut, but This new design has made them borderline useless.Seems this is designed for lefties, which is great, but label it as such. For using right handed they are dangerous since you cannot see if you've actually got the nail and avoided skin! Read more

I LOVE Fridababy! So much so that when I misplaced my SnipperClippers (original pair on left in pic, purchased in 2017), I went straight to Amazon to purchase a new one. However, I was really disappointed, as the new one doesn't open fully, so there's no way to get it around a toddler fingernail. So either it's defective or a knock-off (I notice the new pair, on right in pic, has a new "HK" number on the top that wasn't there on the old one?) But either way, this was a total waste of ten bucks. Read more

I had such high expectations for this product. It seems like the perfect solution for cutting newborn nails. However, it was really tricky to use.The blades are angled so it begins cutting on one side and ends cutting on the other like scissors. This actually was less helpful than you you'd think. It was hard to get the clippers underneath nails, especially nails that are curled under like on the toes.I ended up returning it. Just didn't work for us. Read more

I have two toddlers and a newborn so on Saturdays I usually end up cutting 30 tiny fingernails and 30 toenails. With regular clippers I accidentally clipped the skin a few times. It is much easier to avoid clipping the skin and to see the nail with these. They are shaped like clippers but the actual blade cuts like a scissor. There is a little window in the clipper so you can see the part of the nail you are cutting.I have used them on myself when I was in a pinch as well- they will cut adult fingernails but not as easily because they are sized for kids. I have two sets actually because I wanted to make sure I had a backup if they got lost. Read more

I love my Nose Frida product so I didn't hesitate to buy this product. I'm not sure if I received a defective product but it is either that or a really bad design because it doesn't work at all. It wouldn't grab enough of my child's nail to cut it. And the whole point of this design is to help not cut them too short and this was the only time that my child has ever complained about cutting his nails "hurting" at all. Worst of all, any part of his nail that it did trim off ended up being very sharp, rough and jagged where I had to then file them down so he didn't end up scratching himself or others. Read more

I dislike that I can use these clippers in only one direction. I like that the snipping motion doesn't make the *snap* sound of regular clippers that startles my babies. The viewing window is useless on small hands -- especially if you like to keep your little ones nails short to minimize debris under their nails. That said, these are really nice clippers: easy to hold, cut smoothly, and I like the scissor motion for trimming around the nail and minimizing sharp edges. Read more

After 9 months of using these, I’ve finally decided it’s not me, it’s the clippers. If I don’t hold them at just the right angle, they slip off the nail rather than cutting. When I do get the angle “right” and am able to cut the nail, it makes a concave cut, so the edges end up flared and are longer than where the center of the clippers cut... this creates a jagged mess and I always have to file each nail very thoroughly. These clippers make for a frustrating, time-consuming, nail cutting experience... which is not good because I can only cut my baby’s nails while she’s sleeping, so I am generally hunched in uncomfortable positions for 20+ minutes while I struggle to trim every nail with these clippers and then follow up with a file. I have never used the viewing hole because of the weird angles I have to hold these at to get them to cut, so i don’t see the benefit. I know this brand offers other good products, but these clippers are a dud for me. Read more

My LO nails got so sharp that the nail file wasn't enough. After great reviews I decided to go with these nail clippers. I don't think there is anything scarier than cutting your baby's nails 😂I'm very pleased with them! The window is wonderful idea, the design helps with cutting nails.I highly recommend!! Read more

Me gustó mucho este cortaúñas. Me da mucha seguridad. 100% recomendado. Pero tiene su truco. Read more

Everything is just perfect about these nail clippers for babies. I thought these are expensive so I went with 2 other products first but still ended up buying this as none of the other ones worked out. This is really sharp and cuts the soft baby nail easily. Love the scissor like opening of the clipper as it shows perfectly what I am about to cut. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect clipper. Read more
