This stuff is Amazing! I have nothing but positive things to say about this foam.Features:- Dispenses as a white foam (like a hair mousse)- Very mild formula (didn’t bother baby at all while I was massaging it in)- Cleared up most of the cradle cap in one application- Cradle cap scaling was completely gone with 2 applications- Very pleasant smell (baby smelled good after rinsing foam out)- Easy to rinse away, even with very little waterI heartily recommend this for any baby with cradle cap! Don’t follow my mistake and wait a long time before trying this! It clears up cradle cap quickly and easily! Please mark if you find my review helpful. Thank you so much!! Read more
Used this product on my 5 month old to treat cradle cap. It burned his head leaving sores all over. I didn’t realize the product contains salicylic acid. Shouldn’t be used on a baby’s sensitive skin. Treated the burns with vaseline which helped to heal his head quickly. Read more
I’m so ANGRY as I type this. My youngest(3 mo) has awful cradle cap. Came across this product, the reviews seemed decent so I went ahead and bought it. My husband has been using it on my son so I had no idea about this until now. Shortly after buying the product I noticed he had a bald spot. Didn’t think anything of it since it is completely normal for babies to lose hair. Well just now I decided to give him a bath, since I never do since I’m always taking care of my other child. And what do ya know, this shampoo is what is making his hair fall out. My husband never used the scrub and comb brush I bought to use it with, so I guess I can understand why he never noticed. But as soon as I put it on and started scrubbing a big chunk of hair just came right out. I am in SUCH disbelief right now. Read more
My baby had cradle cap really really bad. None of my other kids had never had that before. So I really didn’t know what it was til I got on google and looked it up...sure enough my boy had cradle cap. I got on amazon to search for cradle cap products, and this one had really good reviews so I decided to try it myself. I only had to use this stuff once, and it cleared up my boy cradle cap instantly. The next wash I did on his hair it was completely gone. Great product equals a happy mommy!!! Read more
Broke my baby with excema out bad . Not for sensitive skin even though it says it is. Didn’t help with cradle cap either . I’ll save you some money here . By some almond oil leave it on baby for 10 min then wash off with baby dove shampoo. Instantly washed all cradle cap away. He suffered for 4 months with it. If i would have used the almond oil first I wouldn’t have wasted money trying so many products! Read more
Although I am not a new mom, I am very new to this whole cradle cap. My oldest daughter never had it, so I had no idea how to treat it. I searched on google and came across this gem of a product. This stuff works so well. I just got it today on August 25th, gave my 2 month old a bath and used it as her shampoo along with the nose frida hair comb/brush for cradle cap and it worked. Cradle cap is gone. I will continue to use it since it works so well. Once I rinsed it out, I used a baby conditioner to wash the extra flakes off her hair. Using Vaseline and oils did not help us as you can see in the first picture. It just stuck to the hair and the comb. Please please please get this item. I highly recommend it Read more
My baby had cradle cap to his forehead (only, I thought, per his pedi), but soon I noticed his scalp had a distinct like...mildewy odor even right after baths, which really annoyed me because he was clean and fresh and brand new! I realized after doing some research and looking closely at his scalp that cradle cap was responsible for this odor. I began to use mustela with every bath. It wasn't magic. It took probably weeks. He still gets occasional flakes BUT the funky odor is gone from his scalp for a long time now, and he smells like the delicious little baby that he is, so I am very happy with this product. I have continued to use it to prevent it from returning. I will probably transition at some point to regular shampoo but I will always keep it on hand. Read more
I was doubtful this would work as well as it did. Baby had awful cradle cap and we couldn't get rid of it. Didn't want to buy ANOTHER expensive product that didn't work, but based on reviews, gave it a try. Soooooo glad we did. One use with the little square bristle brush from the hospital, and it was 95% gone. 100% gone by second use. Rub some into hair and add a little to brush, rubbed around on head for about 45 seconds, let sit for a couple minutes while we bathed him, then rinsed. Perfect. Read more
I used to use this with my son and know I got it for my baby girl. Cleans the hair and the scalp very well . Being a foam also helps to cover and clean every single hair . Read more
It’s okay I guess, my baby has not been scratching her cradle cap so much. Read more
