I first saw this product in an article and so I decided to look into it a bit before buying because I hadn’t heard of the company before and there is some shady stuff going on with respect to hard to find items.The company seems like a very solid company with a very professional website, not hastily thrown up in broken English. They have a socially conscious, sustainable focus to their products, including this one. Their main line of products appears to be “intimate” products, which I haven’t used, but got great (and sometimes funny) reviews. They switched to this because of the shortage.The product itself is great! It’s not harsh on my hands like some products, good consistency, good price! I've never been a fan of hand sanitizer, but given the state of our current situation and COVID-19, I frantically tried purchasing it online and like toilet paper, it's been out of stock. I read an article that directed me to Muse Hand Sanitizer on Amazon. I just received it today, and I am very happy with the product. Initially when I put it on, it felt sticky. Within seconds of it drying, my hands felt very smooth and clean. I purchased two bottles at 9.99 each. It's a lot of product at 8 fluid ounces. Like everyone else out there looking for hand sanitizer, I researched brands that were highly reviewed AND still available to purchase. I bought two bottles of this Muse hand sanitizer. I am honestly confused as to how anyone could think the smell was either light or nice. It's horrible and I am not one of those people who has issues with smells. Nothing every really bothers me and I couldn't stand how my hands smelled from the minute I put this on. And like some of the other negative reviews, I agree that it is extremely sticky and even once dry, leaves a weird film on your hands. I am keeping these bottles in case I completely run out of other sanitizer or don't find anything else that I can have shipped. I ordered one bottle to try it out and liked it so much I just ordered several more. One important note about pricing is that the $3.99 shipping is per order, regardless of how many you order. They even shipped my second order via Fed Ex which is appreciated since they are in Los Angeles and I am in Vermont.Details about the product: It is a gel that is actually thicker than Purell but contains the exact same active ingredient as Purell, namely 62% ethanol. It is lightly perfumed, which I could do without, but not overwhelmingly so. All in all an excellent product and at a very reasonable price given the size of the bottle (8 oz). Highly recommended.Addendum. One important caveat: this gel is so thick that it is literally impossible to transfer it to the 1/2 oz mini-bottles that I’ve been wearing on my belt. Even if I try to transfer some of the product from the 8 oz bottle it comes in to a 2 oz bottle (and that transfer does work), I cannot get the gel to flow through the smaller opening on the 1/2 oz bottle. Not a deal-breaker but a bit annoying. Plus, I’m really finding the perfume smell a bit cloying. Will either of these issues stop me from using this product? No. But they are definitely areas for improvement. Read more

Like so many others, I found it impossible to find hand sanatizer as my usual supply was dwindling. I have ordered other brands in an attempt to find anything and am still waiting on those orders to arrive. I accidentally ran across the add for Muse and ordered four 8 oz. Bottles. Update: CC Wellness has excellent customer service and they refunded me for the product.I don't know where all the good reviews for this product came from, but please pay attention to the critical reviews! The product is horrible. When you use it your hands are very sticky! Once it dries your hands don't feel sticky, but they have a strong smell. However, as soon as your hands get damp, whether with sweat or any other liquid the stickiness returns. Even picking up a drink with condensation on it makes your hands incredibly sticky.I feel taken advantage of because of this crisis.
