My son is strong into crossfit, and has had injuries. He never takes motrin, just uses this product. I am 57 years old and don't really have any knee cartilage and am wildly out of shape and overweight. I started crossfit one month ago, and of cours was very sore the next day. I started living on motrin 600mg every 4 to 6 hours and started experiencing gastric upset, and was still having pain. My son gently recommended this supplement, and I finally tried it. I am a nurse practitioner, and am always worried about supplements, but I read up on this one and gave it a try. What a difference. I only took one pill before bed, and was able to sleep without waking up in pain. I started taking it during the day and no longer take motrin ( making my liver happier). I have not had the fish burps at all. I was using a liquid lemon flavored fish oil occasionally and never experienced pain relief, and the taste was awful. If you are looking for a good fish oil that seems to do a great job, give it a try! Read more

This is the only fish oil I use... No burps, no bad feeling of regret, and no weird smells start emanating from your seat area a few hours later.... This is the best one that I have found after trying most of them. Read more

Like most supplements i take, i can't definitively say that its "working". But i can review them in comparison to other fish pills i've taken. The price is good and the epa/dha is great compared to others. I was never dissuaded by "fish burbs" that other brands had, but MP's fish oil does not give me ANY which i was surprised that a product would be able to back up their marketing. I've liked other MP products and decided to give their fish oil a chance...glad i did. Won't be my last order. Like most fish oil pills, these are typically big but not overwhelming.Update January 3, 2015.I'm on my second bottle of this. My first bottle was simply amazing, but this second bottle revealed some consistency issues that i want to point out. Finishing my first bottle, I NEVER had fish burps nor did the pills "smell fishy" when i opened it. Compared to my second bottle, these two factors have surfaced...which is why I am lowering it to 3 stars. The bottle smells fishy, which isn't a problem to me...but why did my first bottle not smell at all? Something fishy going on with quality control? Secondly, i've been getting fish burps here and there...not every time i take it, but it is noticeable. Did the formula change? What happened? I will order one more bottle after i finish to compare it a third time...And again, like most supplements, you really can't definitively tell they are working unless you get medical check ups. I moved to fish oil from Krill oil because of the benefits I read online that Krill does not provide. I bought this fish oil after reading many reviews of no fish burps. I've taken the pills with food as directed, and still end up getting really nasty fish burps. When I took the krill oil I never had any fish burps and it was less pills to take. I know there is still a lot of studies going on with the benefits, but I'm not sure about this product and claims of being less fish burps. Read more

Researched and used this for years now. Have yet to find an issue or a compatible brand with quality and price. Loyal to them. Although I didn’t realize you had to take 1 per meal at least 3 times a day. Maybe I haven’t been taking enough. Read more

With fish oil, you judge the quality by the amount of EFA (400mg) & DHA (300mg) per capsule, it is good value. There is no fishy smell either so altogether a good buy. Read more

Opened the jar and they smelt utterly rank and foul. I bought them because they were advertised as having no fishy taste but not the case. I could still smell the them in the room the next day just having taken the lid off. Read more
