Here's baby at about 3 months, 3 weeks, around 12 lbs. 24 inches. This item was a lifesaver when traveling to see family over holidays, and dealing with four different 'sleeping arrangements' over a period of 19 days. The mesh sides are awesome because you can look across the room and see if baby is awake/moving or not. It's also got a solid backing, so you can pick the whole thing up and move it (ie: from bed to the floor) without baby sagging in the center. Finally, it's just high enough for a small dog (14 lb shih tzu) to not mess with her. Only downside is that it definitely takes up an entire carry-on bag, if you have to fly.(Purchased for $27.19 December 2016.) Read more

I bought this for my two little Pomeranians since they love to sleep in the bed with me and this way I don't worry about rolling over on one of them. They only weigh 3 lbs. and 4 lbs. They love it!!! I put their doggie bed inside the bassinet with their blanket and they sleep so good in it. It helps keep them secure at night. It's very easy to fold and carry anywhere. Comes with a pad and cover. So far so good! I haven't gotten to use it yet, I bought it for my travel to go visit family out of state. But I did put my son in it to make sure he had enough room and it was perfect for short time use! He has enough room to at least roll over. Which is what I was worried about. He's 17 lbs and 26 inches and its exactly what we needed! Read more

Bought for a road trip and it worked wonderfully. I don't understand why people spend $200+ on similar alternatives when this exists. I loved that it folds flat so it barely takes up any room and can be easily stored behind or under a crib. It's starting to get tight now that she's longer. If your baby is much longer than about 25 inches it's probably not a good solve. Read more

Absolutely perfect for traveling with an infant. Weighs nothing and folds completely flat. We were able to fit it in a duffle suitcase, but there are a lot of suitcases it won't fit into - would be better in the it were designed with a flat rim, rather than curved, because the curved part sticks out making it a bit larger than it needs to be. NEvertheless, I was SOOO pleased with this purchase. I thought I was going to have to travel with two pack n' plays for my kids, but this was absolutely perfect for our 3 month old. Well worth the money! Read more

I ordered this on warehouse used but it said “like new”. I’ve had luck ordering used items on Amazon’s before but this one I returned. It is actually the first time I have returned anything on Amazon. I am not sure if it was defective or just cheaply made but it would not lay flat all the way and did not feel sturdy at all. Also the mattress seemed pretty uncomfortable so if I had kept it, I would’ve definitely got something to make it more comfortable and lay flatter. I thought the easy folding design was a great idea and wanted to love it, but I just didn’t. Personally I decided that the convenience of folding is not worth sacrificing the sturdiness or safety. Better off going with on of those swaddleMe co-sleepers or something similar.Update: decided on the Snuggle me nesting pillow. Much more comfortable and versatile. Read more

I had a c-section and wanted to keep my baby near me, but the bed is so high a bassinett would be too low for me to reach my baby. I put this on the bed and I can check on him through the night. As soon as he's rolling and moving around more, I don't think it'd be safe on the bed, but it's perfect for the newborn stage. He is sleeping well in it! I'm so glad I made this purchase. Read more

It’s really flimsy and my 3 month old is actually throwing her legs over and working her way out of it. She was able to get both legs over at multiple points and her bottom was scooting out. The sides are really flimsy. We went with the Serta icomfort infant sleeper. It’s also portable, the matress mad is MUCH nicer (the Brica one is extremely hard and cheap) and is overall much better quality. The serta one also has lights, vibrations and music. The sides on the serta one are very sturdy and don’t calapse like the brica one. They are roughly the same size and for a little bit more the serta is just overall a better buy for us. I would never leave my baby in the brica one to sleep because I honestly feel it’s dangerous. When we used it as a “lounger” she ended up with both feet out and her back arched over the side. This was in a matter of seconds (she’s a hard kicker) I can only imagine what a larger baby would do. I would highly advise against using this as a travel bassinet. If you are using it as a lounger to bring around the house and you are right there with baby, I suppose that’s fine. When we do that I end up putting her back in multiple times. We used it to go to the park the other day because it’s so light and portable and it was a hassle to keep putting her legs back in. I wish I had a picture to include of when she had both legs and bottom over the side of the “bassinet.” I think if you have a newborn under 1 month that doesn’t kick this MAY work for you, but personally I think is flimsy and cheap. I expected more from brica. I included a picture of the serta one as well for comparison of the sides. Read more
