The good stuff: They're single piece construction, no places for mold to hide, and sturdy. They dry out easily, and most importantly, my 2 year old loves them. The meh: They're advertised to connect together as a train, which my daughter loves doing, but the connection is so loose that the slightest movement of the water causes them to come apart. It'd be nice to see a better connection. But not a deal breaker.A lot of the negative reviews fixate on the fact that these easily tip over and the connection between boats is tenuous at best. My advice: Look at these through the eyes of a 2 year old who doesn't necessarily know which way they're supposed to float. They are solid, they work as scoops for pouring water, they have little holes in the top for sprinkling water, and all in all I'd highly recommend. Read more

I was searching for bathtime toys that do not collect mold and thought these were great because they are easy to clean and simple,I also noticed that these bathtime boats have numbers to teach LO's which I thought was a win win, because we are teaching our toddler to count. The boats get here and we were disappointed to find that we received two 1's, two 2's two 3's....this isn't going to help our kids learn their numbers....another thing is that the boats do not float. If you are okay with these deal breakers and are just searching for something easy to clean, that doesn't collect mold then this is the item. Unfortunately these were not for us. We would not buy these again and we consider these non giftable because they send you the same numbers.Cons: -boats do not float -bosts are not giftable due to the repetitive numbers -not helpful to toddlers learning their numbersPros: -easy to clean -does not collect mold -affordable Read more

I purchased these for my 18 month old son after we decided to replace all of his bath toys. I was looking for bath toys that were easy to clean/sanitize and would not collect mold, so these were perfect. They kept my son entertained but do start to sink when they fill up with water. They were also much better quality than I'd expect for only costing a couple of dollars. Would recommend! Read more

With two girls that LOVE bathtime, we were getting stuck on good toys. We had lots of those little squirter toys, but the mold/gunk build up in those are just so disgusting and I was always fearful that they would squirt mold out. There just aren't a lot of cute bath toys out there that aren't squirters/susceptible to mold. When I saw these little boats I knew they would be a perfect replacement. Although they aren't "cute" like little sea creatures, they are fun and functional! My older daughter likes to help "wash" her little sister by pouring water from the boats onto her back. They like to have "boat races" in the tub. And they are easy to stack and store! Best of all - run them through the dishwasher when they need a cleaning and they are good as new! Read more

I thought these would be good for my grandson’s bath. They can be joined together but the little peg that is used for that under the front rim can hurt baby’s mouth. I’ll just donate I guess. Read more

I bought this as a gift for a 12-month old. The boats were received just as pictured - brightly colored, numbered 1 through 3, and fully plastic without any way for water to get stuck inside and mold.I am docking 1 star because the 6 boats were literally packaged as two separate sets. Each set contained 3 boats zip-tied together with its own product tag. It looked like I bought 2 sets on purpose, especially because each set showed boats numbered 1 through 3. The only difference was the colors of the boats in each set. I guess I should have read the product description more closely because I assumed the numbers would go 1 through 6.I ended up giving 1 of the sets as a gift and kept the second one for my 18 month old daughter. She loves them. They float around and can connect to each other to make a boat "train." We practice our counting and colors. The boats also have drainage holes that are fun ways to "make it rain" in the tub.I do recommend, especially because most bath toys on the market are of the squirt variety. These stay nice and clean! If you are purchasing for yourself, I don't think the two separate packages matter. But it might be something to keep in mind if you were planning to order for a gift. Read more

My daughter loves these bath toys. She doesn't link them together, as they don't stay attached at all, but she loves to float them around and fill them with water and watch the water run out of the small hole in the bottom of each one. Mama is happy because there is no place for water to get trapped, so no way for that gross black mold to form, like other floatie bath toys! I deducted one star, only because they don't link together and stay that way. Other than that, they are great. Read more

I got these because my little guy loves trains and loves bath time, so I figured interlocking boats would be great! Specifically, I was looking for bath toys that don’t facilitate mold growth- and these check the check box there, which is great! However, the trains don’t actually interlock in any way- they just essentially sit on each other. So any ripple in the tub makes them come right apart, and this has caused a LOT of tantrums for the 20 month old. So much so that they aren’t worth keeping in the tub- out of sight, out of mind.
