This monitor is pretty good but for the price, it's starting to annoy me. It will randomly lose signal and there is no way to fix it other than going in my son's room and unplugging the camera/pairing it again. Well, that's not really an option in the middle of the night... I'd prefer not to wake him up. Also, when it does lose connection, the monitor screen beeps incredibly loud and won't stop unless you turn the whole thing off. This monitor had everything I was looking for... split screen, wifi/remote access and a large screen. Does it work well most of the time, yes. Is it incredibly frustrating other times, yes. There are so many cameras out there with great reviews but they don't have the monitor screen... and I don't always want to pull up an app on my phone, especially at night. I like to be able to just glance over. I wish it functioned perfectly, as it should due to the high price. Can't win them all, I guess? Read more

The speaker in the monitor is virtually useless. It's shocking that Motorola would release a baby monitor that basically produces no sound. If the screen is dark and you are sleeping you have no way of knowing if your baby is crying! We thought we might have just gotten a defective monitor so we returned it and replaced it with another and it's the same story. We ended up having to purchase an audio only monitor to supplement this one so we can hear the baby crying in the middle of the night. The microphones on the cameras work because the audio is loud and clear when viewing on the web app. If the speaker on this monitor actually worked it would be the best split screen monitor on the market (which it should be considering the price). This monitor worked for about a week and then the second camera got disconnected and would not re-pair with the parent monitor. I called Motorola customer support and they will not even talk to you until you go online and submit an inquiry at which point they assign you a case number and then you can call customer support back. Once I got someone to talk to me, they had me restart the camera that would not pair and when that would not work, they told me that I had to contact hubble support (who by the way, only has email support, there is no telephone # or live person you can talk to). Motorola said if Hubble support could not help me then to call back and then we could discuss further. Seriously? I just spent $250 on this camera and I have newborn twins and a 2 year old and I work full-time . . . they think I have time for all this shenanigans. Ridiculous! I returned the product and bought a different one. Another issue is the monitor looses connection with the camera and has this loud beep that wakes you up in the middle of the night multiple times. You get what you pay for. I’ll definitely upgrade as soon as i can but it’s okay for now. The night vision actually isn’t bad at all despite the reviews, and the picture on the monitor is clear but the app is super laggy and crashes when you open it. It also makes a really loud ringing noise when you bring the monitor too close to the camera. It’s not a bad camera and for $50 it’ll work for a few months until we can afford something better.UPDATEWe have the monitor in the babies room but not set up yet.. i uploaded a picture of the notifications we get constantly. The picture on this is a little grainy and definitely has a delay. Over all it has easy functionality. I love that it has a temperature display.If you're looking for a monitor where you can split the screen for multiple children you can do this with you to 4 cameras!I have not needed to use the night vision or phone app yet so once I use them I will update my review.I decided to return this item. I would not recommend buying! Night time picture which is what its essentially used for has HORRIBLE pic quality!!! I can’t even see the baby! Every time I turn it on it has to find the camera which takes 5-10 minutes. I wish I could return but my husband threw the box out. This is such a disappointment for all the money I spent! I love Motorola which is why I specifically bought this brand and spent the money but it’s the worst!!!!! Lastly even with volume all the way up I can still barely hear the baby when she cries. I’ve had multiple issues with this baby monitor. It is constantly losing signal and blaring a loud beeping noise overnight. The microphones only works every once in a while. I’ve had issues with the handheld portion charging and keeping a charge.I think what is most disappointing about this monitor is the customer service. I’ve written in multiple times for help. The first few times, I never received a response back. Now I’m fighting with them to get replacement. The first time, they sent the wrong item to replace. Now I’m still waiting for a replacement screen. I’m currently without a working monitor because of all the issues.I would not recommend purchasing a Motorola monitor, specially because of the awful customer service. Read more

Pros(ish) - Day camera quality is good with app but the parent unit is on par with much cheaper units. The app is ok however notifications dont always come through and it often disconnects (my wifi is fine nothing else has this issue). Using this without the parent unit isnt really an option but convenient to be able to check in with the app when its working.Cons - The night camera is so terrible though we are basically throwing it away and going with a much cheaper indoor security camera from ring and an audio only monitor. No pan capability also is terrible. It also came with no mounting hardware which is really ridiculous.Seller was on par with amazon standards. Read more

This product arrived TWICE with no adapter and was not packaged in a Motorola box. It came with just a camera wrapped in bubble wrap. For 130$ it certainly does not make sense that you would have to purchase a plug separately. No instruction manual provided either. I returned both cameras. Read more
